This is a very handy tool for pattern drafting and much more convenient than buying each tool individually. I use this almost every time I sew and I love the little guide pamphlet that comes with it that shows you some tricks to using it on pattern modification. My only complaint is this tool does break easily. Two of my friends have broken theirs and mine broke while in my tote bag. If you are going to transport it, carry it individually, and do not put it or store it anywhere up high because if it falls it absolutely will shatter. However, even after mine broke I repurchased it within 2 days because I can't sew without it now.

I avoided purchasing a hip curve and a French curve ruler for a long time because I just didn't want to play for it 🙃 but this ruler is amazing. It's nice a big, I love the multipurpose/2 in 1 ruler shape as I don't find I need a separate hip curve on its own. The thickness of the ruler is also a plus, I hate when rulers are thin because they feel cheap. Highly recommend if you're in need of a big curved ruler!

I like this ruler a lot. I like it so much that even though it arrived cracked in two places, I glued it and taped it together rather than send it back for a replacement. It's a very nice tool. Very handy to have.

The Dritz French curve ruler is my go- to when fashion sewing. The ruler markings are easy to read and help me track measurements. A must when altering or drafting patterns.

I have owned this for 1 1/2 years and I use it constantly in my sewing room. I have several French curves but this is the one I reach for (why are all of the others still cluttering my space?!) every time. It is well constructed with smooth edges. The printing is clear and readable. This ruler is not indestructible and I have had to replace it in years past but I blame my disorderly habits, not its construction.

If I could put a 0 , I would. Do not get this. It looks nice with clear marking and see through. If you think it won’t drop on the floor you are just deceiving yourself. Trying to save money! You won’t because the 1st time it drops IT WILL BREAK!!!! Then you have to go buy another. I have lots of plastic rulers that sometimes fall but they don’t shatter like this one did. You have been warned!!! I was so shocked when it broke. It only fell 2 feet
