Prismacolor Premier Double-Ended Art Markers, Fine And Chisel Tips, Cool Grey, 12 Count - Adult Coloring, Art Supplies, Drawing

If you are looking to get just the black Prismacolor double-ended markers, then the Cool Grey pack here seems to be the closest thing you're going to find. At least that I know of. Each of the grey markers are slightly different from each other, but the three blacks are the same color black. And so, the only thing that I would call a downside, would be that there aren't any packs that are just nothing but black markers. But that's alright. I suppose I'll live... Lol, besides that though, I don't have any complaints. I went with these Prismacolor markers because I wanted some premium quality markers. And I knew that's what I would get from Prismacolor.

My best friend is sponsored by several art-material brands at Costa Rica, and he showed me the Prismacolor markets so I had to get my own. I gotta say these things turned into an addiction. I can color with greater speed than just with graphite pencils (I’m a grey-scale type of artist) and the quality of the ink is pretty awesome. Maybe it’s because they are water based that they get to blend pretty easily when you combine them, let’s say, each tone will blend nicely when exposed to its darker step. The only thing that makes me sad is that the 10% grey one dried too quickly. Maybe I overused it, but other than that, these guys have become my best friends at any time. The thick tip gives you the chance to color in a wider range and without leaving marks, So the cool thing is that you can draw a line with the same marker over and over and over again and it won’t go darker. It will remain its original tone. I’ll share some pieces I’ve made with them.

These markers are a great price, along with the other Prismacolor items found on Amazon. I live in Canada, and these markers were shipped to me much faster than i had thought. The quality of the markers are exactly as i had hoped: the different shades of grey and the different sizes of ends are awesome, easy and fun to use. I work with many different mediums in art, and i'm glad that there are 3 black markers in the box because i use them for many other art projects. Also, soon after i got this, i went to a Michaels arts and crafts store and saw the exact same markers on a shelf, there was one box left for over 80 dollars...So yeah these markers are pretty sweet.

I love prismacolor markers & have been using them for years. This pack has a really variety of grays. However, I experienced several markers being super dry & the tips had some defects. Disappointed in this batch.

I absolutely love these Prism color markers! I'm in Architecture school and I was hit with the challenge of using one media type "marker" for the entire semester in my presentations. So I purchased a set and thanks to these markers this was a condition i never regretted. They add so much punch to my presentations and I get really good feed back when critiques come around. What I really love about them is the kind of clean water color effect they have and the control you get when rendering, because these markers are doubt tip at both ends they present you with more flexibility and I like the fact that unlike other media types with these you can get a lot of color down quickly which means you save time rendering. Although I must point out that they demand confidence when in use, once you are sure of every stroke you land on paper they will work wonders for you and I find the monochromatic sets of 12 work really well because you get more control over tonality and your color scheme is more cohesive and the more layers you put down the better your work looks. Unfortunately these are quite expensive for art markers I think but still you will be glad you made your order! In conclusion, a good buy.

These markers perform as expected and are a great addition to any artist kit. If you’re undecided go for it. Highly recommend for rendering landscape graphics and design get the colors by the same maker and your rendering will stand out beyond you classmates.

After receiving my item I didn't realize that I had two of the same shade of color and one of them needed to be a different shade. Instead of contacting Amazon about my situation, I emailed Prismacolor and they quickly responded and informed me that a replacement would be sent for the missing marker. Fast and quick response from Prismacolor.

After using someone else's pens, these were exactly what I wanted. They're fantastic for shading and black and white comic work. Highly recommended. I wouldn't use anything else now.

I have been an avid user and fan of Prismacolor products for years... at least 20 of them, to be sure. For the price, they are a bit more than I prefer to pay, but, compared to Copic, they are within my budget, and in my opinion, produce the same results. I prefer the brush and fine tips over the chisel and ultra fine, but to each their own, on that one. I have also recently acquired and had the pleasure of trying out the OHU brand, and find them to be, ok, but still not as good as Prismacolor.
