Meguiar’s Ultimate Compound worked exactly as I hoped it would. I recently got a new car and made the mistake of taking it through an automatic car wash. Afterward, I noticed a noticeable white scuff mark on the paint and was pretty frustrated, especially since the car was still new. I decided to give this product a try, and I’m glad I did. With a little effort, the scuff mark came right off and the paint looked great again. It was easy to apply, and I was impressed by how quickly it restored the finish without causing any damage. The results exceeded my expectations and saved me from having to pay for a professional detail. If you have light scuffs, paint transfer, or minor surface imperfections, this product is definitely worth keeping on hand. It worked great for me and helped make my car look new again. I got impatient one day and wiped off bird droppings on my brand new car with a very, very wet paper towel. Apparently that was enough to put some superficial swirls and scratches into my paint. I read some reviews and watched some videos about the Ultimate Compound. I didn’t even think to take a before picture because I figured I’d just take the L and have it buffed out professionally. I washed the area, dried it very well, and did about 2-3 passes with a foam applicator. Completely gone and looks brand new! Meguiars has always produced quality stuff and I use their products when I detail my car. This was my first experience with the Ultimate compound and I am beyond floored. It was incredibly simple and produced results that were well beyond my expectations!

Good day! I've been using Meguiar's Ultimate Compound for a long time. I bought my first bottle sometime around 2010, and I've continued buying it ever since. One bottle usually lasts me about three (3) years because you don't need very much product to get good results. Every spring, before the summer driving season starts, I go over my entire 2015 BMW 328d and take care of all the little things that have accumulated over the year. Touching up the paint and removing minor scratches, scuffs, and swirl marks is part of that yearly maintenance routine, and this compound has become one of the products I rely on. The results are consistently impressive. A small amount on a foam applicator pad is usually enough to remove light scratches, paint transfer, and other surface imperfections while bringing back a nice shine to the paint. After a couple of passes, the affected area often looks dramatically better and blends in with the surrounding finish. One thing I've learned over the years is to use a clean foam applicator, preferably a brand-new one. Don't reuse a pad that previously had waxes, polishes, or _other products_ on it, since contamination can affect the results. Also, please avoid using paper towels or other rough materials on your paint(!) They can create additional scratches and swirl marks, which defeats the whole purpose of using this product in the first place. This product won't perform miracles on deep scratches that have gone through the clear coat, but for everyday paint defects, it works extremely well. After more than 15 years of using it, I still keep a bottle in my car, another in my garage, and consider it a regular part of maintaining my vehicle's appearance.

I was looking for a product and read all the reviews and decided on this one. My car had pretty damaged oxidation. I would give it almost severe on the bumpers and I applied it follow the directions. I did it about three or four times and the stuff worked great don’t expect miracles, but it looks 90% better.

Worked perfectly on my daughter’s car that had bad scratches, some breaking the paint. It took nearly all of the scratches completely out! It also leaves a polished surface. Easy and easy off. Really pleased with this compound!

Amazing product! I used it to polish my glass cook top that it was almost white and scratched and well…. After an hour using this product with my electric polisher it looks almost new again 😃. I will go for second round during my day off I based on the results I think it will be perfect!!! Spread the voice because I saved a lot of money (I was thinking to buy a new cook)

My car is bright white and was scuffed by a dark painted car in a parking lot. Meguilar’s removed the dark paint scuff marks from my rear quarter panel without damaging the finish whatsoever. I’m extremely pleased with the results and ease of use.

When I started using my spare bedroom as a home office, I kept clipping my car against the garage wall rushing between daycare drop-off and Zoom calls. I bought this to clean up those light scratches on my silver SUV so I don’t feel annoyed every time i walk past it. I wash the area, put a little on a microfiber pad, then rub in small circles. After wiping off, the paint looks smoother and you barely notice the scuffs. Deeper scratches are still faintly there, but for normal door dings and mirror marks it works well. Biggest win was fixing a long scrape from my trash bin before a client visit, which made me weirdly happy. Just be patient and don’t go crazy with pressure bc your arm will get tired.

Really loved the ease of applying Meguiar's product and it seems to work well even with a polishing DA machine. Handy to have one in the garage at all times.

Ho acquistato questo prodotto per lucidare la mia auto Nera dopo ben 3 passate devo dire che ha tolto l80 percento dei difetti sono soddisfatto del risultato migliora anche la lucentezza della vernice ovvio che non fa miracoli !! Ma migliora la situazione.. in ogni caso vi consiglio di fare una prova su una piccola porzione di vernice o quello che si vuole lucidare per vedere eventuali reazioni strane.. per grosse superfici ad esempio cofani e portiere di auto vi consiglio di procedere a piccole aree alla volta e di farlo in un luogo chiuso perché il prodotto tende a seccare presto rovinando il lavoro questo poi dipende se lo passate a mano o con uno strumento meccanico io che sono inesperto ho provato a mano, il risultato è buono ma ovviamente non sostituisce un lavoro fatto da un bravo carrozziere, concludo dicendo che se la vostra auto presenta ossidazione macchie d'acqua o di resina o graffi di piccola entità non profondi allora il prodotto è ottimo ma per problemi più gravi.. rivolgetevi a professionisti.

Very effective at restoring paint work. Have used this on paint work which had not been looked after for some time - was dull and stained. Oxidisation is easy to polish out with this product, deep stains were not so easy, and takes quite a few applications. But, that's what I'd expected. Overall, this will greatly improve the appearance of neglected paint, with no expert skills required.
