Essential Cuisine – Premier Jus – Veal Jus (Concentrated Base) 1kg

Just fabulous. Professional sauce base with a spoonful of jus. Can be modified to taste by adding another flavouring (wine/onions/ mushrooms fruit etc) Lasts ages and keeps for ever. Saved me hours, standing over pans and reducing my own ingredients. You can even try it before making a big £30 commitment by ordering a small tub. Five stars all round and by the way the chicken version is almost as good.

Great for sauces and gravy. Makes a fantastic stock, with great depth of flavour.

First of all, these products are insanely good. I ordered two products and for some reason I got a text saying they were undeliverable. I reordered and contacted the supplier straight away as I needed them quickly - they arrived the next day!

I used to make veal jus from scratch, which is rewarding but it takes a lot of planning and preparation, and it's also very time-consuming. This takes all of that effort out for results that are just as good. I was originally hesitant about the price but after first using it, I was a complete convert. It's now become one of my (pardon the pun) essential food cupboard staples. It'll last for months so the price is completely justified in my eyes.

This product adds a terrific amount of flavour. I used this when I had the Hotel, 20 years ago and still use this extremely great favourable product today. Lasts very well in the fridge.

A stock base for a hunters sauce to accompany a jaeger schnitzel.

Looks glossy enough, but flavour not any better than you’d get from Bisto with a spoon of Bovril in frankly.
