I originally bought this mat to help with inflammation and a persistent hamstring injury. The hamstring injury was not only painful but it also made it hard to walk for long periods of time let a lone workout. So I thought I’d give the mat a try. I started to workout and the next day my hamstring had “fired” off. I laid down on the mat and I could feel the pain elevate within a matter of minutes. I was uncertain if the relief would only be temporary but gratefully it held. I was ecstatic! I continued to workout and the minute I got home I would go and lay on the mat. My hamstring has been getting stronger and stronger and I am just thrilled. The mat is really well made. It’s extremely sturdy and the care and craftsmanship is very evident Let me also speak to the customer service aspect of this product. After about 7 months the product had stopped heating up. Initially, I was a bit dismayed, thinking that getting the process of getting this issue handled was going to be a frustrating endeavor. I couldn’t have been more wrong! I contacted their customer service department on a Saturday morning. I had to leave a message and I though “Oh boy, here we go.” Again, I was wrong. I was contacted within the hour. They asked about my issue, which turned out to be a faulty controller & my order number and promptly offered to replace my unit. That was it! I received a brand new mat on Monday. Yes, Monday! They expedited the shipping, provided me with the tracking number and communicated with me throughout, to make sure I received the new mat and that was in good working order. When I make to make the decision to buy a product that is a bit pricey, one of my main considerations is the customer service i.e. what happens if something goes wrong? It is not unusual, for things to malfunction. However what is becoming more and more unusual, is good customer service. Well, rest assured that they stand by their product. They go above and beyond to make the situation right and ensure that you are a happy customer. I am extremely impressed with the way they handled my issue and wouldn’t hesitate to buy anything from them.

Mat heats up fantastically. Very comfortable. It seems like it is helping sore muscles and joints. I use a few times per week. My wife and graddaughter lay on it and also like too. Would definitely rebuy. GREAT Mat 👍 thank you.

I am so pleased with my mat. I only wish I had a bigger one or multiple!! Between my 2 kitties , my husband and myself we need multiple!! I am a Nationally Board Certified Massage Therapist as well as a Advanced Energy Healer and cannot say enough about all the benefits of this mat and the products provided by this company. I have even used it on a very low heat setting (sometimes turning it off for just the negative ion benefits) on my 15 month old daughter. Be Blessed!! ***UPDATE*** I have continued to have amazing result for my muscle soreness and recovery from surgery. It has improved my eczema and autoimmune issues and I know has helped with mild post parting!!! I use the mat for detoxing monthly as well-amazing!! I recently had an error message on my controller. I contacted the number on the manual they took my information to have the chief of customer service contact me either via phone or email. Which they did literally within the hour if not less. I was given a list of instructions to follow to possibly fix the issue. Once I responded that they did not work I received another response almost immediately stating that another MAT SET was being FedEx, tracking number included...and literally received the entire mat set within 2 days! We checked if the new controller would remedy the issue and it was it didn’t. So I was told to keep the new mat set as replacement. I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH ABOUT THIS HONESTY AND GREAT SERVICE AND PRODUCT QUALITY!!!! Truly amazed!!!

I bought the Amethyst+tourmaline mat when I was in a lot of pain following pregnancy and L&D, and while I can't quantify it, I'm positive the mat helped in my recovery. In fact, I believe it played a large part in relieving me of my back pain, which was nearly unbearable following surgery. It did stop working a few months later, so I contacted customer service and I got a call back the same day with options to replace AND upgrade my mat, no questions asked. When I didn't respond immediately, I got a follow up call and email personally from Anastasia, the owner of the company. She was able to answer all my questions and suggest a mat that met my needs better (chair version), again replacing at no cost. The replacement was shipped out the same day and delivered the next. While I haven't been able to truly try this new mat out, I want to acknowledge that Medicrystals stand behind their product and went above and beyond my expectations in responding to my concerns. Will update if/when I have more to add about my new mat, but definitely the best customer service I've encountered in my years of shopping; I highly, highly recommend! .

For the most part I was very excited the first few days of receiving it but couldn't figure out why/how I get so many error codes when there are only two buttons to push. Green and red... I wanted to have a far infrared pad to lay on for naps and to heat up my body temperature. It works for that. However, please read on... It is smaller than I anticipated. I am a thin person (110lbs) and still don't fit on the mat comfortably. There is no room for my arms to be by my side on the mat so . I'd suggest any adult get a wider product. It says it heats to 158. I can't verify that as it only shows 70. There is often an error code and shuts off randomly so I'm not sure it ever achieves it's high temperatures but I like the heat it emits when I place it in between my blankets and bed before go to sleep. The company responded and I am satisfied with their explanations and follow up so I've changed my rating from a 2 to a 4. An average person will definitely need a larger size but it works for what they intended it for.

I was skeptical about this product but so desperate for a solution to my insomnia that I was willing to give it a shot. I’m so glad I did. I slept 8.5 hours the first night I used it. I could not remember when I last slept that well. I mean, it’s been years. I was sore the next day, but that’s my fault- the instructions say to only use it for brief periods of time at first. It is stiff and hard, but after a couple of tries I’ve found the right configuration of pillows to prop it and my body on and I sleep on it all night every night. I have fibromyalgia and interstitial cystitis. Before I started using this mat, I would wake up around 2 a.m. every night to pee and might not get back to sleep for hours, if at all. Now, I normally can sleep longer before my bladder wakes me and fall back asleep much more quickly. Also, my bladder has stopped hurting at night. So wonderful. The heat and timer features are great. The multiple timer settings are convenient and I love getting into a warm bed now that’s it’s getting colder here in Michigan. (I try to remember to turn it on just before I start brushing my teeth, etc. to get ready for bed.) I can now use fewer blankets, too, which I love. I do not like the weight of multiple layers of blankets, which makes me feel restricted in my movement. In addition to sleeping far better than I have in years, which is helping my mood, focus, and energy, I am in less pain overall since I’ve been using this. I recommend this mat to anyone living with chronic pain. I look forward to using this every evening. I can even take naps now- I rarely could before due to restless leg syndrome. In short, this mat has had many positive effects in the short time I’ve been using it. My only regret is not having known about this great product sooner.

I deal with chronic pain from fibromyalgia and lingering effects of a bad car accident. So I ordered the 59inch mat plus the soft pillow and I started getting immediate relief after the first use. But I also noticed that my back was stiff and contacted the company to see what I could use under my knees laying on my back. I emailed them at night and got a reply within 2 hours. They decided to send me at no charge the cervical hard pillow for under my knees and it has worked very well. This company truly cares about their customers. I urge you to buy their products because they are well made and if you have concerns they respond quickly, follow-up to see that their solutions are truly working for you and in my case they didn’t charge me for the additional product. That is pretty amazing, don’t you agree?
