12v Quick release RV Macerator Pump
As an avid RV enthusiast, I recently invested in the Quick Release RV Macerator Pump, and it has revolutionized my waste disposal process. With its 12V power and impressive 12 gallons per minute (GPM) capacity, this pump offers unparalleled efficiency and convenience for dumping waste at RV stations. Installation was a breeze thanks to the dump station mount, which securely holds the pump in place during operation. The quick-release feature allows for swift setup and removal, saving me valuable time during each dumping session. One of the standout features of this macerator pump is its powerful performance. It effortlessly breaks down waste and efficiently pumps it through the hose, minimizing clogs and ensuring a thorough cleanout of my RV's holding tanks. The 12 GPM flow rate means I can complete the dumping process quickly, allowing me to get back on the road without delay. Furthermore, the pump's 12V operation makes it compatible with my RV's electrical system, eliminating the need for additional power sources or batteries. This ensures reliable performance wherever I go, whether I'm at a campground or boondocking off the grid. In terms of durability, the Quick Release RV Macerator Pump is built to last. Constructed from high-quality materials, it can withstand the rigors of regular use and harsh outdoor conditions without compromising performance. Additionally, the compact design makes storage hassle-free, taking up minimal space in my RV's storage compartments. Overall, I highly recommend the Quick Release RV Macerator Pump to any RV owner looking for a reliable and efficient solution for waste disposal. Its powerful performance, easy installation, and durable construction make it a must-have accessory for any road trip or camping adventure.

Good pump but replace cigarette light connection
This is a great pump, I've used it many times and it works great. The only downfall is the cigarette lighter connector at the end of the power cord is trash. The spring in there is some sort of cheap metal that gets hot, loses its tension, and almost immediately causes it to fail. Order some 20 amp or 30 amp mini battery clamps, and replace the cigarette lighter connection, and go straight to your battery. Also this pump pulls enough amps that it will likely pop the fuse on your cigarette lighter, or in the case of the F250 work truck we were using with a heavy duty cigarette lighter, it started melting the plastic around it. So trust me, buy some mini battery clamps for like $5 to $7 and replace the cigarette lighter plug with those clamps and go straight to the battery. It's perfect at that point. I attached pictures for reference.

Good for occasional use.
17 March 2018 It's not fast, but it did empty my 3 RV tanks. Each tank is 54 gallons. The discharge is 1" hose barb so I added a short piece of 1" ID clear hose with fittings to attach a standard garden hose. (see photo) This clear tube is handy to see what is coming out of the pump. I also had a clear 3" sewer fitting between the pump and the connection point on my RV. That fitting was also handy to see what was going into the pump and what the flow was. I had 100 feet of garden hose in use (50 feet of 5/8" and 50 feet of 3/4") and the hose when uphill 3 feet to the discharge point. The flow was good for this size of a pump. The sewer discharge of my RV has a 3" slide gate valve that my hose connects to. That valve was helpful when the tanks were empty and it was time to flush the macerator pump and the garden hoses. I turned on the water supply to the inlet of the macerator pump on and closed the 3" slide gate valve that the pump was connected to. This made it so that fresh water was being fed directly into the suction of the macerator pump and worked well to clean and flush both the pump and the garden hose. When I finished the pump and hoses were as clean as a water flush could get them without any odor remaining. Out of curiosity, after I was finished emptying the tanks and after everything was cleaned up and put away, I took the head off of the pump just to look and inspect it. The con I noted is that the gasket that seals between the pump and the inlet housing is nothing more than paper. I expected some material that was rubber or some plastic material. The paper gasket was wet all the way through and I even noted a few drops leaking when the pump was in use. UPDATE 24 JULY 2018 We have been at a campsite for the last month that had a sewer dump connection that was located too far for my stinky slinky to work. So, for a whole month, I relied on this macerator pump to empty my tanks. As I said before it is not a speed demon, but it worked very well. One learning I gained by using it so much was that the tanks empty better and the pump is less at risk of running dry if two clear 90 degree elbows are used back to back (see photo). When the flow starts tapering off as the tank goes empty the small flow does not flood the suction of the pump well when the pump is installed at the same elevation as the outlet connection. By adding the two 90 degree elbows the pump is lowered relative to the sewer outlet and the pump works better to get rid of the low flow at the end of the process.

Worked a lot better than I expected
I had never heard of a mercerator pump and didnt expect it to work very well. I started off at about 50 feet away from the septic tank and it worked great. I moved the travel trailer and then was close to 150 feet. I had to bury the drain hose to go under the driveway and it had a 90 degree turn going up and a 90 degree turn to go straight again. That was a little too much for the pump. So, i had a cheap transfer pump i got at the cheap tool store and hooked the hoses to that 50 feet away from the trailer on the input side and 100 feet from the septic on the output side. I first turn on the mercerator pump, then turn on the cheap transfer pump and it works better than before. I can drain the tanks in 10 minutes. I have only had two issues in a year. The first was when i first got it. It stopped up at the check valve, so that wasnt the pumps fault. The second time, a year later it got stopped up and had hair tangled in it. I have left it hooked up and on the trailer the entire time. Its so much better than dumping it into a portable tank and wheeling it across the year.

Love it!!
After reading many reviews I was prepared for the modifications that were required to make this pump work “out of the box”. I found a few reviews peppered throughout mentioning the drain valve wouldn’t fit the pump, I had a similar experience however the pump fit on my clean out fitting so it seems to be a bit of an angle issue. I found the pump was pretty heavy to be connected without a drain fitting anyway. I had a few to try, I settled on a swivel fitting which is perfect for taking the weight off my dump valve and the pins that seal the unit to the valve. I can turn the entire unit or rest it on a block if needed. I purchased 25’ of 1” high pressure hose which was a complete pain to work with! So I ended up cutting off 12” to connect to the outflow 1” barb, I used two 1 1/2” Clamps, and a 1” barb to 3/4” hose reducer (I decided on PVC because that is what the local hardware store had) I selected a 100’ 3/4” farm grade hose to reach my clean out port which took up 98’ of the hose. I had zero issues with stalling, or over heating. I ran the pump in two minute intervals, with rests in between. I discovered that I actually had a clog from repeated dumps at an un-level dump station. Finally after five months of ownership (of my used TT) my sensors are reading accurately because I could adequately flush my tanks at my leisure! I am so happy with this purchase, I wish I had known about these five months ago. I found the necessary parts and accessories to make this work strictly by reading reviews, except the swivel clean out connection! I had zero leaks from the unit or my hoses. UPDATE - I have used this product regularly for 3 or 4 years it is still going strong but I did buy a backup since I have just recently had a couple times it wouldn’t turn on immediately but I suspect it is more the power switch that is going back in the cord than the actual unit.

This little pump really sucks—in the best way possible.
I’ve used this Quick Release RV Macerator Pump twice so far and plan to use it a lot more. At its core, it does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Once you get familiar with its little quirks (more on that below), it’s quick, efficient, and easy to set up. A few quirks to note: • It’s not compatible with the orange Rhino brand fittings (see the elbows in my photos/video). • The 12V power cable is comically short—don’t expect it to reach any outlet inside your tow vehicle. That said, both were easy fixes. I grabbed a long SAE extension cable (right here on Amazon) and swapped in a different brand connector for the inlet. After that, everything ran smoothly (pun very much intended). Overall, this pump delivers solid performance with just a couple of tweaks needed.

It Really Works as Described
I purchased the SewerFlo Macerator Pump because we wanted to be able to empty our RV tanks into the cleanout pipe of our home septic, which is about 80 feet from where we park the RV. It's all level ground. I purchased two 100' hoses (one red for sewage, one blue for water). I was not able to find any quick release adapters for the 1" water hose inlet, so I purchased the Water Bandit and a hose clamp (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000EDOSKG?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details). It works exactly as described. There's no vibration from the unit. Use a clear plastic elbow joint from your RV discharge to the macerator so you can see what's going on. You don't want to burn your pump out by thinking it's full when it's not. You need to see the sewage/water in the elbow. I purchased a 1500 power inverter with the dual 12V car cigarette lighter plugs (I purchased the SewerFlo Macerator Pump because we wanted to be able to empty our RV tanks into the cleanout pipe of our home septic, which is about 80 feet from where we park the RV. I just pull my truck up to the macerator, plug the the unit into my power inverter, and I'm off to the races! What a God-Send this macerator is!!!

Essential - But Incomplete - Items needed listed below
This would have merited 5 stars if it didn't require running to local hardware stores to make it work! Materials to make it work are less than $10, but the time running around getting everything had much greater value. Likes: Quality and price for this pump are without competition. It's a strong pump and moves a lot in a short period of time considering it's pumping through a 3/4" garden hose. Essential for maintaining your tanks at home or where you don't have close access to a dump station. Dislike: It doesn't come with a garden hose adapter for the output. Another reviewer here also shows the parts needed to cheaply make it functional, but why in the world isn't this included? 99% of people are going to use a garden hose type hookup. not a 1" hose barb! Maybe a boat application would require a 1" hose connection, but this pump is listed for an RV, so a 3/4" standard garden hose connection is essential. WHY would they sell it like this????? One other thing that I didn't care for was the included cigarette lighter type power adapter but I guess this is standard. Instead, I ran a dedicated fused 10 gauge power line back to where my dump is located. I replaced the cigarette lighter type plug with a standard SAE 12V battery tender type plug and installed the corresponding plug close and grounded it to the frame. So now, I can just plug it in right at the dump. I added the same type of connector to my emergency air compressor so I could be plugged in also since it was close to my tires anyway. Items Needed to make this work with a garden hose (output side). * Everbilt 1 in. I.D. x 3/4 in. MIP Plastic Hose Barb Adapter. Model# 800319. Sold at Home Depot. * 1 in. I.D. x 1-5/16 in. O.D. x 10 ft. Clear PVC BRAIDED Vinyl Tubing - You'll need 6". Sold by the foot at most hardware stores. * 1-3/4 in. Stainless-Steel Worm Gear Clamps. Quantity 2. Sold at any hardware store or auto parts store. Instructions: Slip the 1" id Vinyl Braided Hose over the included 1" hose barb connection and secure with a worm gear clamp. (ONLY GET PVC BRAIDED VINYL TYPE, NOT THE PURE CLEAR STUFF OR YOU'LL HAVE A VERY BAD DAY!" Don't get the plain vinyl stuff or you'll take a nasty bath one day. It's not meant for any type of pressure. HD doesn't sell the 1" PVC braided stuff by the foot, so you'll need to go somewhere else for that. Insert the Hose barb adapter in the other end of the hose and secure with the other hose clamp. It's now ready to use with any standard garden hose but I suggest using a 3/4" inside diameter hose if possible.

Worked better than expected!
Very fast delivery and the setup was very easy. Dumping the wastewater with our camper is a 10 Min. tasked that can be done at any outhouse along the way. No searching for Dumpstation's anymore!!! Great product.

Works good
I liked the price and the quick shipping. I had to buy an adapter to use a garden hose on the discharge. You could cut the end of the garden hose off and attach it that way.. would be more permanent though. I knew what I needed from all of the other reviews. I like the on off switch and the length of the cord. It works very well and cleans up nice with the hose adapter on the suction side of the pump.

Not sure of product authenticity?
Product has no labelling that would indicate it being a 'SewerFlo* pump'. Appears to be a 'generic knockoff'. However, the maufacturer 'specs' are the same as SewerFlo and therefore, could be a production model wholesaled out to different 'brand named companies' (ie: SewerFlo and SeaFlo - same pump/different name). Late delivery time interfered with ability to use the item for which is was intended and I now must wait until spring before I can test the value of the product. Also, this causes the 'warranty period' to be expired and therefore, I may have to 'eat the $200.00 +' should the pump fail to meet any personal or advertised expectations. Personally, I expect to receive purchases as 'per advertised'. Especially, when one is paying the same top dollar price. Hence the 3 star rating which may in fact be too generous or not gnerous enough depending on how this pump performs?

Used fist time
Pump works great. Used it to empty my black and grey tanks today. Pumped both tanks through a 5/8 50ft garden hose into my camco rhino tank that's in the box of my pickup. Pump was easy and clean. Would buy again for sure
