This is the greatest tool when deciding to paint. I had a small wall that I needed a small roller. I didn't want to use the flat tray as it is quite messy and can be easy to spill and make more of mess. I loved that this product had a handle and it had the right amount of space so I can stick my roller in and get enough paint on it so I can do a nice job. Being able to hold this, rather than constantly bending down to use a flat tray, made my small paint job much easier and faster.

This is the best new tool I bought. It holds the paint for a small roller and you can use for your paint brush to edge or cut in. Cleans easily looks like new after use. Has pour spout. Made perfectly fit small roller. Handiest thing. I bought multiple edgers non work well. I used good paint brush either Wooster or Purdy, and this. For paint rolling larger areas I bought a paint tray like Tupperware amazing. You can seal it up and save for later if you are too tired to continue

I use large mini paint rollers to paint whole rooms. I feel I do a better job, make less of a mess and it’s much better on my somewhat arthritic hands. I use a 3 step utility step ladder. The biggest issue has always been that the normal paint trays aren’t very secure on top of the ladders shelf. This paint cup is big enough for the 6 inch roller. It can be put over the handle so it’s secure and can’t slide off. It’s easy to hold and paint. And it’s cheap. And honestly all you need. 2👍👍 up

Comes in handy for smaller jobs or touch-ups. Sturdy and stable, difficult to tip over. A bit awkward held with the other hand; works best on a stable surface. Handles 4-inch rollers w/room to spare, but not 6-inch. The well is deep and narrow, which helps keep paint from losing fluidity, drying out too quickly, even using a limited amount of paint. The roller angle allows run-off to quickly flow back into the well, and the ridges work well to knock off excess paint and distribute it evenly over the roller. I wish it had a secondary well to hold a brush, as some others do, because I usually use a roller with a brush. There is no room in the paint well itself, nor any viable option to rest it on or over the tray. There is also no designed lid/cover between coats. I use a wet rag to cover. The other knock is the disposable inserts that, although handy, are simply overpriced for what they are. They could make a respectable profit from charging half as much. You can resort to lining the tray with cellophane/plastic wrap as a much cheaper alternative, although less "handy."

Recently I had to repaint our 8 foot front door without removing the door first. Since it was a vertical surface, I needed to be able to hold the paint in my left hand while painting with the roller in my right hand. I read that jumbo mini rollers were the best to use for this type of work. So, I bought this Handy Cup holder to hold the paint. It worked perfectly.

This was perfect for what I needed it for. I painted my stair rails and needed something I could hold in one hand while moving around. I used it with my little 2” foam roller. As mentioned in other reviews, the handle was a little flimsy but I was never worried that it was going to break or slip out of my hand.

This mini roller tray makes small jobs a little easier. It falls short in a couple areas. I think it would work better if the trough was straight or flat, versus curved. Rollers aren't curved. The handle is also a little flimsy. I expect it could last a lifetime if handled with care.

Didn’t see the benefit of having this just use normal Buckets

I bought this product as I have small hands and find standard paint trays too big and unstable. I have not yet used the roller cup but even with my small hands the handle seems a bit short (not as long as the front legs) and it is quite pliable so I am not sure how it will handle with the addition of the weight of the paint.

Great for small quantity jobs

Liked it very much used it to paint my walls in the bedroom worked wonderfully well
