Works perfectly
Great value over ordering from a classic car/truck restoration catalog. Looks and feels better than OEM. Easy to install and great quality. Works and fits perfectly on a 1984 GMC 3/4 ton truck.

Dorman parts
Works good. Didn't solve my issue, but I replaced all other window/lock switches awhile back from Dorman with no issues. It needed replacing on my 83 Chevy K20.

Works, but needs adjustment for '93 GMC Vandura
Just put this in my friend's '93 G2500 Vandura. Needs the long connection post in back trimmed down . Worked while hanging by the wires when testing. But didn't after installed in door. Long/short ...one of the connection posts on the back of the switch is WAY to long and rubs the metal door. This evidently shorts it. The passenger window would go up but not down. I clipped the post so it would fit without rubbing. Soft brass cuts easily. Works fine now. ....and incidentally the previous switch in the door was not faulty after all and had the same issue. So now my friend has 2. No biggie at $12. Hope this helps .

Perfect replacement for cheap SWK100 window switch kit or GM 4841-10-002
I ordered a retro window kit for classic trucks for my 68' GMC. Switch failed within weeks and a replacement from the vendor was 55.00. This Dorman 901-017 was a perfect replacement for the SW100 switch or the 4841-10-002 GM OE STYLE CHROME DUAL DRIVERS SWITCH which goes for 30.00. I debated if I should have ordered the Dorman 49242 at 23.00 but decided to try this lower cost one (13.00) instead. I could not determine what was different between them and the pictures were not helpful. Both had a longer pin for the orange lead to the other switch. This one came with mounting brackets although Amazon says it does not. This was the exact quality as my original switch if not better a a price that makes it easy to carry a spare.

Works great
On my 1983 GMC jimmy it worked perfectly My old one crumbled in my hand and left my window in the open position. I had to hot wire it to close it before it rained till the new one came in. I very happy with the product.
