Nice is all I can say. I should have read the table of contents. This kit comes with a huge plastic cover, to cover your work area. It also contains several sheets of sanding paper. The knife is super sharp. I already used the sanding paper, and it is top shelf quality.

What else is there to say? The hobby knife goes where I want it to when cutting out decals. The paint brushes keep me from making big mistakes when I model paint, and the drop cloth keeps my table clean of paint and glue. This would be perfect for a person who needs to replace their old paint kit for their modeling workstation.

I used to build models as a kid, and I decided to revisit my old childhood hobby. I picked out a P40 plane, and then I realized I would need paint, glue, and knives, etc. When I saw this kit, it looked like it had everything when it came to tools, and it does. It has the Xacto (very sharp!) to cut pieces off the tree and trim flash - Sandpaper to smooth edges (great to have, I use the sandpaper to smooth pieces and they look better, plus you can rough up the surface for better glue adhesion), 3 paint brushes (small, medium, large) which will cover most painting jobs (however one might want to get a tiny, tiny brush for the faces of the pilot, etc.) - Lastly it has tips you put on the glue tubes, to direct glue correctly and to achieve smaller drops. Great to get your hobby started or re-started. I recommend getting paints and glue separately of course, but this covers your tools. I recommend this.

The kit's great, but someone needs to change the misleading image, and expand the product description. This kit DOES NOT contain any paint, but it comes with 3 paintbrushes of different sizes, a hobby knife, some sandpaper, and 5 glue caps. Nonetheless, my son needs this kit anyway to get started with assembling his model tank, so I did not regret the purchase. *I bought this thinking it was a paint set. Silly me.*

Great kit for building model cars whether you are a beginner or advanced. paint brushes are of different sized tips and the cutter works perfectly when needing to make things fit a little better, Purchased this with the paint set also by Testors Home.

Perfect kit, needed to replenish my supplies. Been utilizing these at the beginning of my hobby. Always affordable and dependable product. They also have fine brushes available. Thanks!

Bought as part of a Christmas gift for a 12 yr old grandson. He used it to paint kit model kits. Good product, easy to use. Produced good results.

The knife is a nice size and shape, HOWEVER it's cheaply made. The back of the package says "very sharp"....yeah, it's not. Although of course you can still cut yourself with it. I've touched, held and used many sharp things in my time...the sharpest ever was a scalpel.....I consider those VERY SHARP.....stupid sharp in fact. I effortlessly broke the tip off and a small chunk out of the blade. Disappointing. The sand paper is very useful though and the glue tips are mediocre. I use the finer pointed Testors glue anyway. In my opinion Testors brushes are a joke in general. They are no where near small or fine enough to paint much of anything and they flex WAY too much. Do yourself a favor and get some smaller, nicer brushes. I picked up 3 from my local art supply store for about $3.25/each. One was a "0", "10/0" and a "5/0". The company is "Simply Simmons". Nice brushes for the price. I mostly used the "0" for bulk/bigger things and the "5/0" for the tiny stuff. I'm planning on getting something even smaller than the "5/0" in the future. I hardly used the "10/0". ("10/0" is in between the "0" and 5/0")
