Failure to launch
I’ve used several Donaldson filters however this most recent filter malfunctioned. The seal on the filter continued to leak excessively. After comparing the old filter with the new one, it was clear that the seal was flawed. Had to run to a local auto parts store and buy a Motorcraft filter. I’ll have to carefully reconsider any future purchases of Donaldson filters.

Check O ring for being uneven…
Ordered two filters, noticed one O ring was uneven, leaked … used 2nd filter which has been fine so far…

Product is fantastic
It's one of the best filters you can get. Works wonders on cleaning oil in my opinion. That said, maybe the shipper shouldn't send oil filters in paper shipping pouches in the future. That huge dent in the end the size of golf ball and about a half inch deep will make most people return it. Luckily that doesn't affect the function.
