Pelican Rechargeable LED Flashlight

It's good. Not too heavy. I almost wish it was brighter. Don't get me wrong, it's still quite bright.

This is a well made LED rechargeable light. You want few things from a light, it must always deliver some light even when battery is low, it must not break if it falls, and it must be waterproof. It's all three. High low output is a godsend between charging,. So many tasks need light but not too much. It won't roll away like a comparable streamlight rechargeable, or a maglite. It's head isn't large so it fits in kits much better. Dual switches on tail cap and body. I have NO idea how reviews got written for this LED VERSION of the 8060 about needing replacement bulbs (led lights don't need replacement bulbs) but I'm guessing they decided to transplant their review of a much older light to this one.

Great light! I use it daily and I love the light weight and bright light it emits. The charging base is sturdy and hold the light in place. I have mine mounted in my car vertically and the light has never separated from its base.

This flashlight was used in the lava tubes and everyone's best friend with long last battery life and light saber powers. I had to reminder my sister it was150+ dollars when she dropped twice.

We have had bad luck with the bulbs burning out with very little use, and you have to send the flashlights back to pelican for repair. Not the best system if you need the lights on a daily basis. An equivalent mag-lite costs about one fifth of the pelican light. Save yourself a lot of time and money and buy something else.

Brightest flashlight I have ever purchased. Sturdy. Charge holds a long time. Used it in a hurricane that lasted 12 hours and it performed wonderfully.

Great light for patrol. lights up the night! The battery last forever, I only need to charge it every few days. it is very durable.

PROS:Big bright duty light! Cons: Can't find holster or big enough o ring.
