No it does not have a formal luggage trap. But you can use the duffle handles to go over the luggage handle.

How long are the straps (from shoulder to bag)?

You will be able to put it on your shoulders. Beat bag I have!!!!

Does this bag flop over when empty? I need a bag with a study base that doesn’t fall over when empty.
