Can i use it to prepare labels for postage?I mena can i print a whole address in a single label?

You probably can but it would be a long label as it's a narrow strip. I think dymo do another labeler for a pc which might be better suited for that application that you require.

Once the Dymo device downloads the fonts & symbols etc. from the PC, do they stay on the Dymo device without having to reconnect it to the PC?

Not on the one I have, when you use the PC software it looks like the laptop uses the Dymo device as a "printer" so can made labels with any font on the laptop, the Dymo device only has the fonts it came with once disconnected from the laptop. Having said that I find the software very easy to use and make most of my labels with it.

With the 19mm labels what’s the biggest font, will the font fill the whole label? Photos only show small text

With 19mm labels max font size is 40pt. This is equivalent to 9mm. Therefore there is a 5mm margin at both the top and bottom of the text.

How many different fonts does it have? Acording to the comparison table in the web page, it has 7, product page says 6, and manual says only three.

On the actual machine it has 3 fonts- "fun", "basic" and "Serif". There may be more if you use the computer based package, I haven't got round to using it yet.
