Can I connect 2 tanks together for more water storage?

I put two 3.2 gal tanks together with a tee last month. It works fantastic!!

Anyone know if this will work for Whirlpool RO systems? The support rep told me any RO tank would work. Anyone use this for another system?

I don't think it matters what RO system you have. If it has the option for a reserve tank and the fitting works, then it should fill with water.

What is the pressure rating for the tank. Can it handle 60 psi?

Remember that the RO system water valve regulates the "internal" pressure, so the tank is not going to see the actual water line pressure. Most valves operate at 65%, so if your water line pressure is 60 psi, the pressure at the tank generally won't be more than 40 PSI. In most setups you'd need the pressure on the water line to be around 92 PSI to get 60 PSI on the tank.
