As a father of four kiddos, I love to start traditions in our family....traditions that I hope will one day be passed on to my grandkids. Every year at Christmas time, I put a stuffed animal in the top of my kids stocking, partly because it's a cute way to top off an already stuffed sock, but also because I get such joy seeing the look on my kids faces, as they see the specific stuffy that I picked out specifically for them. For years I've been referring to my youngest daughter as "my lil monkey", and this year I decided to look for an affordable stuffed monkey that I could top her stocking with. I had two criteria, it had to be cute, and it had to be cheap (have you priced stuffed animals these days...wow). After scouring Amazon for the better part of an hour, trying to find the perfect monkey, I cam across this amazing little creature...and my heart strings were yanked, as I thought about the smile that would be across my little girls face Christmas morning. Like many of the other reviewers, I fell in love with this little guy. He's incredibly soft and well built, super cute, and much larger than I was imagining him to be....and the price point was perfect, and right in my budget! I can't begin to tell you how excited my daughter was that morning, but I can tell you that this daddy won the "Father of the morning" trophy, and a whole year's worth of hugs! My daughter saw a real squirrel monkey in a zoo and fell in love. Did a report in her 1st grade class on the squirrel monkey. Can’t wait to give this to her for her birthday. Quality feels top notch. We’ll just have to protect it from our corgi. 😂

I’m not a big fan of my kids having a million generic “cute” stuffed animals, in piles all around the house that get forgotten about after 2 days. I’m also not into the kids toys that have the oversized glittery eyes. I guess you could say I’m astuffed animal snob. lol. So believe me when I say that this little monkey is awesome! The fur is so soft and silky. And, it’s little face looks like there’s an expression, giving him his own little personality. It’s my first time purchasing Wild Republic brand and I am so impressed. We got this for my 2.5 year old daughter who had a fascination with monkeys, and she was so happy! Its size is perfect, it looks like monkey, and is lightweight enough for her to carry on her own.

Was my daughter's very first stuffed animal, this little guy has been on more adventures than you can imagine. Word of caution when washing, DON'T PUT IN DRYER. We had to get a "doppelganger" when our first buddy's fur got messed up.

Adorable. Made a red vest for him for my son’s girlfriend to hold as Marion from INDIANA JONES. Costumes rocked. And I suggested he give her the monkey. She still has it.
