These work great if you end up with a typical clog of hair, toothpaste residue, etc. caught around the drain lever rod that goes across your drainpipe. I still pull out the lever so that I have clear access to all of the clog. Pulls it up every single time. If you've got a clog at the P-Trap, this likely won't work as effectively as it is thin plastic and won't break up a clog easily, if it will even reach where the clog is. This type of clog you'll need to break out the snake.

Tub drain started acting up, ordered this and was amazed how much gets stuck in the pipes. It pulled so much out I just had to show the wife. I had to give her a 3 hour massage after to get her eyebrows to get unstuck in a raised position. HA! Very durable with some modestly urgent pulling, functions and performs much better than I anticipated. Length seems good and I believe they can withstand a few uses each if you clean and store them sufficiently, though I recommend your own digression on the matter.

After reading a prior review in which someone had trouble fitting the snake in the drain, I was a little reluctant to try these out. I'm glad I did. They worked perfectly! The length is ideal for reaching the P-trap and the snake was the perfect size to fit in the drain without having to remove the stopper -- I just unscrewed the top of it and went to work. Needless to say, it did a fantastic job cleaning the hair out of the drain and getting the water to drain quickly again. The cheap price and fast shipping made it an ideal choice.

These work pretty well for clearing hair out of the shower drain. It’s easy to use and relatively easy to clean. They are a little awkward to maneuver but I think they’re pretty effective and handy for how cheap they are.

I always have these on hand. When the drain starts going a bit slow, use this to get out any trapped hair. If you don't mind getting your hands a bit dirty, they can also be reused quite a few times, until some of the hooks start to get bent and wore out.

I had high hopes for the Forlivese 4 Pack 25 Inch Drain Snake Drain Clog Remover, but this ended up being one of the most disappointing drain tools I’ve ever purchased. On the very first use, almost all of the little “teeth” started coming off the snake. Not only did it fail to properly remove the clog, but now I’m left wondering how many tiny plastic pieces went down my drain and into my septic system. That was honestly the most frustrating part for me. I purchased this hoping to avoid harsh chemicals and expensive plumbing issues, not introduce a bunch of loose plastic debris into my pipes. The material feels stiff, the teeth do not stay attached, and the tool simply did not perform as advertised in my experience. The one positive in this situation is that Amazon customer service was amazing and refunded me immediately for this piece of junk. Unfortunately, this product created more concern than it solved.
