MOOG K8687 Front Lower Suspension Ball Joint for Ford Taurus

Some reviews state the problem solvers are a bit bigger than oem. This product did not appear to be any bigger. Did not measure any bigger. Was not any harder to install than the old one was to get out. From what I can tell, it is OEM dimensions, not any bigger. Installed perfect, nevermind that I ripped the boot trying to get the control arm back in, but the product is good. Steering is tight, can't complain. Moog is a good brand. I have used their problem solver products on different vehicles in the past, and you really can't go wrong. I would trust this over the cheap no-name parts you can get any day because I like being able to steer. This brand, AC Delco, any of the name brands are gonna be safe, but stay away from the names you've never heard of that are dirt cheap. It's not worth it for a part that will most likely wear out in 10 or 20k.

These parts have been installed on my car, and they are doing their job as expected. The packaging was "compromised" as the seller stated, but that didn't affect the parts inside.

These were exactly what I expected. Have purchased Moog before, and the quality is good. They installed and fit just as expected. Have been using for several months now, and they work just as hoped. Arrived in good condition and in a timely manner as is to be expected when ordering from Amazon. Packaged well to prevent damage. Really have nothing bad to say or complain about. Will purchase again if needed.

Package look like it sat out in the rain.The box is destroyed and opened. Should be an open boxed items hopefully all the parts are in it. Item looks fine just didn't look thru the part package yet.

5 stars for Moog Parts! Box says Moog K8687 Ball Joint But part not as shown here. You will receive a black one with Problem solver and numbers 5749 on the bottom of the part. The picture shows a K8687 Blue ball joint, on the bottom it says problem solver 6 L. Amazon needs to change the photo, because that is not the part that you receive. You think you are getting the blue one with that part #6L, then you are surprised because it is a black ball joint with 5749. Hope this part works fine. Never had any problems with Moog Parts in the past. I just didn't want to pay the premium price for the part and get the cheaper model instead. I will compare them to other parts today. Moog said they changed from Blue to Black. Product you will receive is black 5749 on bottom. Thanks Amazon.com for working to clear up problem. Can't find anyone to install them, still New in box. A lot of mechanics will not install your own parts. Too bad because it isn't for the DIY person.

Good product and good value. Seems that Moog products are always right for the job.

There's not much you can say about a ball joint, they just ain't pretty! The Moog brand is, of course, everything you expect when tackling a job like replacing ball joints. The parts fit perfectly. My application was a 1997 Ford Taurus LX.
