LockNLube 90 Degree Grease Coupler Adapter

I've got a riding mower with greaseable outer pulleys on the mower deck that have always been a challenge to get to with a straight grease fitting due to being barely outside of the footrest of the mower body. Out enough that with the deck all the way down you could just squeeze the grease fitting under the footrest and onto the zerk but under just enough to make it a pain to pull back out due to tight clearance space. Despite the nightmare that is greasing, I still try to keep up with it for the longevity of my equipment. I Got a LockNLube main fitting for other grease jobs that were also a royal pain and it was an absolute game changer. Although the main fitting was far too big for the mower deck zerks space, since it worked so well on other jobs I got this angled fitting from them to try and it worked just as good as I had hoped! The LockNLube main fitting locks onto this angled fitting, the angled fitting easily pops onto the mower deck zerk with all the room in the world to spare under the footrest, grease away and with a little tug pops off the zerk-done! What was an almost dreaded job is now no problem at all. I grease up my mower at least 3-4 times a season (also has zerks on front tire hubs and steering spindles) and these grease fittings make all the difference, can't recommend them enough.

This item is essential if you have to grease a lot of items with hard to reach zerks. It connects solidly to the regular LockNLube fitting, but sometimes slips off the one you are trying to grease, so it works best on a pistol grip gun where you have a free hand to assist. Overall, it is very nice and easy to use.

This really worked well. I purchased it because I got tired of disconnecting the mower deck from my Cub Cadet to get at the grease fittings on the spindles (just not enough room. If MTD had just put 90 degree Zerk fitting on the spindles it would have helped!) As a plus, the company who makes them was very responsive when I lost one of the working parts and replaced it for me.

It seems well built and does what it is supposed to do. Problem comes with "recessed" fittings. In some cases, the recess is not wide enough for the screw down cap to fit into and you cannot get a secure connection to the zerk. Another problem might be that the recess is not deep enough to allow it full seat. Both situations are similar. Can't get a good grip on the fitting. In my case, greasing the boom arm pivot on a backhoe, the upper fitting worked perfectly and I was ecstatic. The bottom one, that appeared identical, not so much. The struggle was unwinnable. Only a few thousands difference in the machining, I guess. If only the screw down collar was a little smaller in diameter.

Easy to get in those tight places on our brush hog and loader. Wish I'd known these existed sooner.

This couple is so easy to use and is a great addition for my grease gun. There are several fittings on my riding mower that was different if not impossible to grease until i got this coupler. It does it so easily. Give it a try

The item was delivered as advertised, upon receipt still in the package it appeared to have been used. After removing from the package it clearly had been, grease was still inside. Knowing that wouldn’t impact the functionality I decided to keep it and use it anyway. It became apparent as to why it had been returned, it does not work. A waste of money, it leaks very badly. I will never purchase another of their products.

I have a Kubota BX2380 and I try to keep all the grease zerks on my tractor greased up regularly. I was going through my repair manual for my Kubota BX2380 and I realized that I had missed 2 very hard to get at grease zerks on a bearing that supports the PTO shaft. There was no way I could get a needle or regular coupler on the zerk. I’d need a 90 degree coupler to be able to grease that zerk. I ordered this coupler and as soon as it came in I installed it on my grease gun. I was happy that there was enough space to get the 90 degree coupler on the zerk. It took some work to get it on and off the zerk in that awkward location but that grease zerk finally got greased. I was very pleased with this purchase and I’d recommend this grease coupler for sure.
