These are the best cotton swabs I have ever used. They do not break easily (despite what some of the reviews said), and after trying to spend less and buying other cheaper versions of bamboo Qtips, I find that these MONCOM cotton swabs in the round package with the panda on it, come sturdiest and with the most cotton wrapped at each tip for comfort and functionality. [The cheaper ones break super easy and the tips are hard and scratchy bc there is not sufficient cotton loaded onto them.]

The wooden sticks are definitely sturdier than the flimsy paper versions I’ve tried, and I like that they’re biodegradable—feels better tossing these than plastic ones. The tips are generously sized and soft, which makes them versatile for more than just ears. I’ve used them for cleaning small crevices around the house, touching up makeup, and even minor first aid needs. The included storage box is handy and keeps everything neat. That said, the sticks can still be a bit brittle if you apply too much pressure—snapping is possible, though not frequent. Also, because the tips are thicker than standard swabs, they may feel a little oversized for ear use if you’re used to the slimmer variety. Bottom line: These are a good value if you want a sturdy, eco-friendly cotton swab that works for multiple tasks. Just be mindful of the thicker tips and avoid heavy pressure on the sticks.

Cotton swabs -- a mundane product -- yet another ruined by "mother hen" regulations and lawyer damage suits. U.S. made cotton swabs are no longer available (to the general public) made with wooden sticks. Lately, the plastic stick type have increased their flexibility to the point where you can put very little pressure on the swab before it bends. The result is that those swabs are much less effective in swabbing. (Sigh.) This product, made in China, is manufactured using bamboo (which might actually be superior that the old wooden type). They are effective as swabbing and you can moderate the pressure reliably. Minor quibble is that occasionally a flaw in the bamboo will cause one to break -- but this is a rare occurrence (less than one per package of 500). Let's hope the "regulators" don't catch on to this product.

I like the container they come in. The swabs are okay but some don’t work properly as the swab tips have unraveled apart easily and have even gotten stuck in an ear. I had to pick it out with scissors. But they are not all bad. You get what you pay for.

These cotton swabs are great! The tips are thick and soft, and the sticks are made of strong wood, not flimsy like some others. They don’t bend easily, which I really like. I also appreciate that they’re eco-friendly and biodegradable. I mainly use them for cleaning around my ears and small things around the house. The small box is easy to store, and 500 swabs go a long way. Great quality for the price!

You know you're going to use these the way you were taught was wrong. The bamboo doesn't break, which is awesome; cleans piercings and gunk off a keyboard well, too.
