Sisyphy Surface Connect to USB-C Charging Cable for Microsoft Surface Pro

It’s doesn’t work !? My laptop - It doesn’t charge when connected to electricity!? How does this extension cord work please !

This product worked well for my Surface Pro 7. Since my Surface Pro 7 does not have USB-C Thunderbolt support and the original laptop battery is getting old, I needed a way to use it with a battery pack. This helped solve that problem and allowed me to continue using my laptop more conveniently. Overall, it was useful and served the purpose I bought it for.

Crapped out on my two months in. Should’ve listened to the reviews. This one worked sooooo well before. It was a little bit finicky with connecting to some usbc cables (it would disconnect slightly and you’d have to push them in together) but no biggy. Not terrible. Not durable long term, doesn’t charge my tablet anymore. The magnet charging part is ok? Maybe. I think maybe that’s what’s not working though because the tablet will slow slow slow charge with usbc. Just so bad

The description states that the Surface Pro 8/9 will report "low power" messages when using this power adapter. The Surface Pro 7+ is supposed to have all the internals of the 8, and so it was with some doubts I bought this adapter for my Pro 7+. I am happy to report that this adapter works perfectly in conjunction with both a 65W PD USB-C adapter as well as with a Lenovo ThinkPad T-41 USB-C charger and my Pro 7+ charges at the normal (quick) rate. It works with both orientations in the Surface Pro Connector slot and both orientations of the USB-C jack in the adapter. This adapter lets me use basically any modern laptop USB-C charger in conference rooms while still keeping my USB-C port available for second monitors or other USB-C devices. I can keep one adapter constantly attached to my travel bag's USB-C charger cable and it is ready to go while I'm on the road with basically no additional bulk too. This is a quality adapter and I am going to buy more to keep a few at different locations.

This adapter allowed me to charger my surface go without bringing my normal surface charger on the the road. I could charge via USB-c but often need to use the USB port as well. The only down side is the little charging indicator light stopped working after one charge. Make sure you use a sufficient wattage PD charger or it won't work at all.

Works very well for my Surface Pro 7. Nice power indicator light, magnetic attachment fits & works nicely and the price is right. Be sure to have a 65W power adapter for later Surface models (GaN type are very small now!) or you’ll mistakenly think it’s not working right. I have used 2 of these for two different MS Surface tablets and very happy with them; very reliable. Just be sure the adapter is seated correctly onto your USB type C cable (but power LED on this will tell you if it is not).

Crossed my fingers and ordered this cable after the included charger gave out. It has been working very well. The surface pro is working again. With a good PD source and a good USB C cable, the charge rate seems to be the same as the original charger. It's nice not having to carry a brick and bring able to use a standard USB C, which Microsoft should have supported to begin with. At the price, I ordered another one to replace this one when it reaches the end of its life.

Bought this back in September 2025 today was the first day that I needed to use it plugged it in and it does not charge. The only reason I bought it was for mobile charging and it doesn’t even work. Awful

Works good for my Surface 3 with the 65W fast charger from the Action. This one is good with the extra little wire to give some wiggle room and extra space to attach to the charger. I'm happy.
