This vmarketing wall clock is nice. The setup was a bit of a challenge but the instructions are actually decent. You must pay close to the instructions and do as the instructions say. YouTube is not your friend when it comes to this wall clock. I have learned that physically moving the hour hand will cause the hand to slip out of socket, and once this happens you now have a non functioning wall piece. If you follow the instructions it will be a nice addition to your area you choose for it. I have to say the battery box is difficult to access. It does keep time well. The value for the money is great for me. It does what it suppose to and I’m happy with my purchase. Thanks Amazon! Update: A year later and my clock is functioning fine. I had to make a few adjustments to get the time and chime to sync. I think my battery for the chime needed to be changed after about a year. I stated above it can be difficult replacing batteries but it’s doable. This time around my adjustments that worked FOR ME…. to keep my clock functioning properly was to ustilize the adjustment knob found on the back of the clock to adjust the time much as possible. The instructions can be challenging so FOR ME….. before any batteries go into the clock set the hands to what the instructions say. I believe it reads 6:50 am set the hands preferably with the adjustment knob, however if you choose to utilize the hour and min hands that can lead to the hour hand coming off track and falling into the face of the clock. If that happens it’s not a big problem if you have patience. I fixed mine by setting the hour hand back into its groove by hand for me I put it back in place with one hand and pressed down on the hour hand with the other until it slip back into the groove. Once I did that it seated the hour hand just below the minute hand. So I say again if you can utilize the adjustment knob for time much as possible. The next issue I ran into was once I set time now the chime was outta sync. My fix to that was I utilize the adjustment knob and went thru 12 o’clock and kept up with the chimes until I got to the desired time. Remember it has a night shut off from 10pm -5 am. So if it start chiming correctly and during the day it stops you will have to go thru the steps again and flip it and pass thru the 12oclock and same as before keep count of the chimes and once it set to time by the number of chimes you should be all set. All in all it’s a good clock for me. One other thing happened to mine was if it’s bumped or touched it could stop the pendulum from swinging I just made sure it was level and gave it a lil swing and seems fine this far. I must say the build quality could use a little work as mine the top piece comes off so try not to grab it by the tallest piece. Again I have had mine for about a year and still working properly.

brought this clock for my living room to add some classical touch. Perfect fit. Ordered some Bedford clocks, from another major retailer other than Amazon, that were similar, but either the order canceled, the product was delivered late or not all. The bedford clock did not operate properly and needed to be returned to the retailer. The Amazon vmarketingsite clock is everything as described. Beautiful appearance, blends in with the furniture and decore of my living room. The seller was courteous to provide operating/installation instructions prior to delivery allowing me to understand the clock's features. Clock arrived in secure easy to remove packaging that also included instructions. Instructions were easy to understand and implement. Once I got the time set and synchronized with the strike/melody, the clock operates seamlessly. So pleasant to listen to the Westminster chime/strike tune. Volume and chime settings are easily adjusted. This is a clock well worth purchasing and the price point is very reasonable. Recommend this timepiece with the highest possible rating.

I read some mixed reviews about this clock but decided to take a shot anyway because it was exactly what I was looking for, very elegant looking and perfect for my living room, and the price was great. I am very happy with it so far: it looks great and appears to be well made. Some other reviewers said their clocks arrived broken or not working properly, but ours is perfect! It does not look cheap, as some others said. Of course it is not of the same caliber of a grandfather clock which costs thousands of dollars (as many do) but it would be silly to expect that. In my opinion it looks like it costs much more than it does, and I’ve already had guests comment on how beautiful it is. I do agree that the sound of the chimes is a bit tinny, but it still sounds nice and I do not feel disappointed with the tone. It was a little tricky to get the chimes to sound with the correct number based on the hour, but the instructions provided were very helpful. It has been keeping accurate time so far and overall I am very happy. It looks great on my wall and I would recommend this clock without reservation.

This clock is really beautiful to look at. It keeps perfect time and the chimes are nice, not tinny. It has 4 options for chimes . I chose Ave Maria and chimes for each hour.You can choose it to chime every 15 minutes also or turn off chimes all together. You can also adjust how loud. Love it.

Excellent modern grandfather clock. Works in all modes I think it's a good idea it's modern but I still like the old style..

I purchased this clock for a friend. She was absolutely thrilled when she opened the box. It was beautiful and fit perfectly with their decor. Problem #1.: The description on Amazon said nothing about it being run by batteries or what kind so we thought it was a wind-up clock which is what she wanted. Problem #2: After four members of her family all tried to make it work according to the directions, they still could not get it to chime when it was supposed to. After two days of trying they finally gave up and decided to send it back. Problem #3. With no access to a printer, UPS store, or participating Kohl's, they finally decided to take it back to the Post Office it was delivered to. The attendant found an address on the box and made up a return address label. The advertisement on Amazon said "Free Return" but it ended up costing her $37+ dollars. Now we are hoping it finds its way back to the place from whence it came, and I in turn receive credit. Lesson learned - Next time we will shop at a store where hopefully there will be someone to talk to if problems arise.
