Take your chances
We like these bulbs but have had a few that didn’t last long. We also got one that didn’t work once. I feel like if you get a good one, it works well

So much brighter

High heat
I was pleasantly surprised with the brightness and heat this bulb gives off. It made a remarkable difference in the temperature in my tank. It took it from 92's to 101's. My bearded dragon loves to bask under it. I don't know how long it will last as I just started using it last week. So far I believe it will be a long time. Excellent value for the money.

Great bulbs, even as dirt cheap as they are
I avoided this brand for years b/c they had a tendency to blow out after just a few months. Then, I needed one for an emergency, and this was the only one I could find ASAP. I've since stocked up on them. I'm not sure what changed, but thr quality and longevity are better than I could have hoped for. I've used these for bearded dragons, and now for my Uromastyx Geyri. He's had his current 2 basking bulbs for almost 6 months and the output levels are as consistent as they were at the start. TBH, I now prefer there over the Arcadia basking bulbs I previously used. These also still provide great output even when covered in soil & sand dust from a parkour fiend Uromastyx, as seen in the pic.

Get what you pay for
The price is convenient but you get what you pay for. I always have issues with these bulbs! Either they go out quickly or they literally break when trying to take them out. I don’t have this problem with other brands and I made sure my wattage on my lamps match the wattage of the bulbs. I’ve been buying these for a few years when in a pinch and every single time I regret it

No UVB & very small UVA
I’m not sure what the point of this bulb is since it doesn’t provide UVB and very little UVA. It does give off heat and my bearded dragon seems to like it, that’s why I’m giving it 4 stars, plus it’s cheap!
