LONDON FOG Women's Double Breasted Peacoat with Scarf

The coat is made of high-quality fabric and well sewn. It's also a classic cut. The scarf is equally classic and very attractive. I ordered a size 1X to fit my 53" hips, but found it was too roomy in the chest as a result. I measure 47" in the chest and the 1X was too big. That's the only reason I returned it.

Very pleased with this coat. I almost could size down, but this will fit in the shoulders and sleeves perfectly with a sweater on. I'm cold-natured, so I'll keep the Large. I'm 5 ft 0, 155lbs, pear-shaped with a long torso and short legs. This came to my hips. The quality of the stitching is just gorgeous and the fabric is heavy. The scarf is thin but a nice neutral color (blue and taupe but the blue is so light it's almost a grey) and was attached at the back of the collar with a T shaped plastic price tag thing (you know, the ones made of fishing line). It was easy to cut off. The only thing is, I wish this were belted at the waist, because it doesn't nip in enough and conceals my figure. But I suppose with a sweater underneath it won't matter much. There are only 2 pockets (in front at the waist), and they're very deep. Half my forearm fits in them, or my cell phone, keys, gloves, hat. This is well-made, would buy again in a heartbeat. The color is better in person than in the stock photos. I ordered the heathered grey I believe which is more of a light taupe (more of a light brown, no black in it). Good color for a blonde. Looks nice with brown boots and brown purse. There is no hood, so I need to find a good hat to match this. I believe this coat is dry clean and scarf is hand wash lay flat to dry. Good investment piece, very sturdy. I got this at an excellent twenty six bucks in summertime. Better quality than expected. I feel this is more sturdy than my London Fog trench coat. I paid a hundred bucks for that one at the mall ten years ago.

I have been looking for a wool pea coat for several months, have also purchased several coats, all of which had to be returned. My body shape - broad shoulders, small bust, wide hips, which makes it a nightmare when trying to buy coats/jackets. In order to fit in hips, I need a plus size, but then bust area is ridiculously way too big. Just as I was about to give up, I found this black London Fog pea coat in a 1X and decided to give it a try. Happy to say my search is over! The coat is slightly a-lined, bust area is still a tad big, but will be perfect when I layer up on really cold days, plenty room in sleeves not tight at all, AND hip area fits perfect! The thick wool blend fabric is also very nice, as the tight weave makes for a softer smooth feel. Too bad it doesn't come in camel!

I've worn pea coats for as long as I can remember, so I go through them fast. I typically wear a 2x...big in the middle and the shoulders, not in the chest (unfortunately). This coat fits me well in both places and I'm able to button it with ease, so yea me! But I do find this particular coat is very short in the sleeves for some reason. I catch myself pulling at them the entire time I'm wearing it. Not really sure why the sleeves are so short, but I did debate sending it back at first because it bothered me so much. I love the coat overall so much, I'm dealing with it, but I don't think I'll buy another one from London Fog for fear of shortened sleeves. Four stars for a great coat, one less for tiny arm length.

This coat looks so expensive!! I feel so fancy in it. I am 5’5” and 235 I got an extra large fits perfect! It’s warm. We just had -5 temps with -25 wind chill the coat keep me so warm. The scarf came in handy. I love everything about it.

Bought this for a trip to Italy in January. It kept me warm yet not too hot. It’s comfortable and pockets fit plenty. Fitted. Nice length.

This coat is fantastic! A great value for the amount charged. It fits perfectly with room for your layered tops. It’s not very thick but it is very warm and soft to the touch. I would highly recommend this item!!

Der Artikel entspricht voll meinen Vorstellungen, nur die Lieferzeit war mit mehr als 6 Wochen sehr lang-angezeigt waren 7-10Tage-, sodass auf Grund des Frühlingswetters die Jacke jetzt erst einmal zum Einsatz kam.

Packed with so much care. So well made. Very roomy, runs large so if you prefer snug then size down. Excellent quality and wool and warm. Great bargain, a great colour for the holidays, part of a capsule wardrobe. Very happy with it

Beautiful jacket! Appears to be well made. Definitely warm enough for a dy of running errands, but you would certainly plan to wear something warmer if staying outside longer. The scarf is a nice touch. I love it!
