Newhouse Hardware CHM1 Door Bell Chime, White

Essential component for fitting the Google Nest second generation wired camera door bell (designed for US home wiring) in the UK. Does the job.

This doorbell works great with 18v 500ma doorbell transformer (search B0BC7PLLRG) and Eufy E340 wireless video door chime. A reed switch placed near to the solenoid and connected to where the button would normally be on a Byron BY32 allowed me to have my old Byron chimes also working all over the house, although supposedly it could also connect direct to the chime I didn't try that (having had enough trouble before with that).

Good product, works as it should. Needs separate power supply.

I bought this to use with the Unify Protect G4 Doorbell in the U.K. and it works as expected when following the wiring diagram in the doorbell’s setup instructions. I bought this as it was one of the few that I was able to import it into the U.K. to replace my doorbell chime box, as I preferred to wire this up as per Ubiquiti’s instructions rather than using a relay with my current 6VA U.K. chime box. Attached is a photo of it next to the doorbell transformer the Unify doorbell ships with (on the left in gray). I drilled a hole in the side of the two boxes to allow for the Ubiquiti adapter cables, you’ll also need a short run of cable to complete the circuit, only a few cm. Took about 10 minutes to mount and wire up. The time between the two chimes is a little slower than I expected which could be a power related issue but it’s less than a second, the bell can be clearly heard throughout the house which is its function. It has a satisfying “ding-dong” noise that’s to be expected from a mechanical chime. For anyone looking to fit a mechanical chime to their Unify Protect G4 Doorbell in Europe, using the included transformer and adapters included within the doorbell’s box, then this is what you’re looking for.

A simple easy replacement for an old chime that still integrates well with a smart doorbell.

The chime is melodic and loud enough to hear when in another room.

Didnt work as a replacement for old door chime so resorted to the Alexa/RING/Chime door bell

Yo, this thing started working right away. I hooked it up to a 16V transformer, which is what the Ring Video Doorbell Pro says is good enough. I tried a bunch of other UK doorbells, but this is the only one that didn't make any buzzing noises. And the transformer doesn't get as hot. Only downside is that it's a bit too quiet.

Works with Google nest doorbell in India. Just install a transformer to convert 220V AC to 18V AC. Then connect this doorbell to the transformer output with Google nest doorbell. Price is expensive since it needs to be imported from USA. But there is no other choice.

This doorbell arrived damaged as one of the tone bar supports was broken and I am reluctent to return it as it would cost almost its value. It should have been backaged for posting

Funciona muy bien. Suena agradable, no muy fuerte pero agradable, suficiente para una casa de dos pisos. Funciona con transformador de 18 a 24 VCA, y lo estoy usando con timbre wifi LaView sin problemas. Tiene para timbre frontal y trasero
