AVEDA By Hc_Shampoo, Scalp Benefits Balancing Shampoo with Burdock Root 8.5 Ounce, ()

I’m currently pregnant and limited on the shampoos I can use to fight flakes. Just washed my hair with this for the first time and it got rid of almost every one of them. I did double cleanse so as to get a nice lather the second time and went in for a third just because it was my first time using this. It works. There’s not much more to it. If you do your research, basically what’s it’s doing is getting rid of the oil buildup that the bacteria that causes flaking lives off. Amazing for a natural product to do this without the use of salicylic acid.

My scalp has been feeling itchy with my normal shampoo and Head & Shoulders has not been helping. I did a search on Google for itchy and dry scalps for salon grade shampoos and this was recommended. I only have to wash my hair 2x a week now and don’t have the same problems. It does smell. Like it smells like it has the needed medicine for dry and itchy scalps. But your hair doesn’t smell after washing.

This product always helps balance my hair after too much product, same shampoo usage, exposure to a pool or sun. The Seller did a great job in packaging as they wrapped it in plastic to avoid any leaks on other purchased items.

It is so natural and smells great. Hair loss stopped and Dandruff reduced. Great Product! Costly on the flip side but good one and useful

I first came across this product when I went to a salon that only uses Aveda products, so I already knew that I liked it. Unfortunately, the salon no longer carries the Scalp Benefits line, so I bought it here. I've always had an itchy, oily scalp; however, other brands such as Head and Shoulders and Garnier anti-dandruff shampoos always made my fine, oily hair feel dry and dull. After my package arrived, I used it just one time, and the itching is completely gone. I've seen a little bit of dandruff still, but my scalp was so itchy and dandruffy to begin with that I'm sure it just takes some time before it goes away completely. I MUST warn you, though, that this shampoo smells of *freshly ground black pepper.* If you can't stand that smell, you should probably try another product. Also, other reviews have stated that the shampoo alone doesn't work. They are probably right, but I haven't used only the shampoo. I strongly recommend using the conditioner as well to get the best results (and take away some of the peppery smell!). I'll definitely be purchasing this product again.

When used with the conditioner, this is the perfect shampoo. I have Sehhboric Dermatitis and this really has helped with some of my flaire ups in my hair. It's also helped keep my curls super soft since they dry out from having to wash/scrub my scalp all the time. Well worth every penny!

Not sure about this yet- was using head & shoulders but was told it's bad for you and made my scalp itchy and had scabs sometimes. This shampoo is super expensive and came wrapped up in a plastic bag, no cap or wrapper to show it was new- I have no idea why? It could be fake. It smells like pepper beef jerky and doesn't seem to get all the oils out of my hair. Will continue to use and see, but doesn't make my scalp itchy.

È circa due anni che utilizzo questo prodotto, senza ombra di dubbio superiore a qualsiasi prodotto consumer da supermercato. È innegabile che sia costoso ma a mio vedere non sempre spendere meno significa risparmiare, mi spiego meglio: Costa 25€ ma ne basta una quantità veramente esigua di prodotto per ottenere un risultato eccellente, una confezione non dura meno di 6-7 mesi. (Ho i capelli lunghi all'incirca 4-5cm). Il prodotto poi ha un PH leggermente acido e abusarne non gioverebbe seppur con risciacqui abbondanti. Ho comprato anche il balsmamo scalp benefits (quasi indispensabile), riduce l'esquamazione a ZERO in una settimana di utilizzo, il che significa addio forfora!

Lo utilizo porque tengo el pelo y tras ya usarlo unas tres o cuatro veces ,noto que el pelo me aguanta más tiempo limpio

Ich liebe dieses Shampoo!!! Ich habe immer mit sehr trockener Kopfhaut zu kämpfen und da ich meine Haare jeden tag Wasche wird das auch nicht besser. Nun hab ich dieses Shampoo entdeckt und bin sehr zufrieden! Meine Kopfhaut juckt und spannt nicht mehr auch wenn ich es jeden Tag benutze.

Most shampoos strip the natural oils from your hair and scalp, with the chemicals they use - but Aveda are different in using plant-based extracts that don't do this. In the past I have found that most commercial shampoos leave me with a dry scalp and the need for additional things like conditioner, to get any kind of satisfactory result. Since discovering this shampoo, several years ago I have found that it makes things like conditioner unnecessary; while leaving your scalp untouched - even when frequently washed. Of course others may want different experiences from shampoo (if adverts are anything to go by?) - but if you just want clean hair with no scalp irritation, then this is an excellent product that I can't recommend highly enough. It's good to see that you can now buy it at Amazon, when you can't get to Aveda's own shops.
