I have used these comic book boards to store fabric on for a number of years. They are sturdy enough and fit nicely standing up on the short end in my shelves. They are acid free so won't discolor the fabric stored on them. They make storing and organizing fabric a breeze.

Great stiffness and work excellent for sewing fabric. Organizing my fabric stash and these are excellent choice.

Great for wrapping fabric on. I must have over 200. Makes it easier to see what you have. I have them in two 6 foot book cases lined up. Easy to see at a glance what you have. I love them.

work great as fabric cards

I certainly like these boards. I have bought them before and will likely buy them again, but what you get can be inconsistent. First, there is nothing wrong with their cut. They are the size advertised and fit fine in 7.25" wide mylar bags just fine. I have ordered these boards on 4 separate occasions. I have received boards that were "shiny" (from acid free buffer maybe?) on both sides and I have received shipments where they were shiny on just one side. No big deal. Sometimes I have received board bundles with dented corners. The damage wasn't bad enough to affect how the board supports a comic, but when you have them all bagged up with a 9.0 comic, the damaged board corner sticks out like a sore thumb and makes it look like you have mishandled the comic. i.e. You see the damaged board and think that the comic and board have been dropped, so maybe the comic is damaged too. This is minor, but if you get a batch of them it can be irritating. On my last order of 400 boards, all 4 bundles were "warped" slightly instead of being perfectly flat. Once again, not extreme enough to be a concern for my comics, but when you want to perfect conditions, it's an irritant. Overall, I am happy with the BCW boards even with the minor irregularities. There are better, truly archival boards that are fully buffered throughout known as "half-backs" and "full-backs" that can be purchased elsewhere and their quality is excellent. No defects, well packed for shipping, etc. The only problem I had with the better quality "half-backs" is that they are not as stiff as these boards. You need to buy the thicker "full-backs" to get the stiffness and the price is more, unless you buy in bulk.

I love this brand for its quality in comic products. These boards fit perfectly in the matching silver age bags and provide excellent support for my new and back issue comics. They're pretty thick to provide stability but don't take up too much space. They provide a lot of support for my comics that I don't get with just the bags. I will never use another brand for my comics.

good price and recommended by a comic book shop. Consistent size and flat. The shiny side is the comic side FYI. If you want permanent storage, probably best to get the hard case for your best comics I had a slew of comics that were not worth that cost and this helps me keep them safe. You never know what becomes trendy. Could be a hair thicker but maybe that's another SKU

Comics need these covers

These BCW Backing Boards for comics are great compared to what I used to use. Up until recently I wasn't using acid-free boards for my comics and I've realized that because I have some Bronze Age and Silver Age stuff in my collection, I should probably start doing that. I just re-bagged and boarded 2 full long storage boxes worth of comics (that's over 560 issues total) and replaced all those old boards with these nicer acid-free ones. They both look and feel like great quality boards compared to the ones that were in those boxes (many of which were the original boards that I got the comics in from 10 or more years ago I bet!). Now I no longer have to worry about the boards I use eating away at the covers of the comics and lowering their graded value.
