Nice Little Two Drawer File Cabinet
I am quite happy with the Lorell 16872 2-Drawer Mobile File Cabinet! It arrived two days earlier than the shipping date and it was undamaged in the shipping process. I purchased it from Haus Appeal. It was very easy to put on the handles and the wheels. I deliberately put files that I don't need often in the back of the bottom drawer in order to provide enough weight so the unit won't tip over when opening the file drawers. The metal of the file cabinet is very thin and thus the drawers are light weight. I didn't expect a heavy steel cabinet for the price. Since I'm not rough on my possessions, this light weight unit will work fine for me. The lock works OK but if you seriously want to keep someone out of your files, don't expect this lock to be much of a deterrent. The drawers when full slide fine without wheels and ball bearings as is used on high end file cabinets. Would I buy it again from Haus Appeal on Amazon.com? Yes, I would because for the price it is a decent little two drawer file cabinet.

Quality and simple
This filing cabinet is perfect. For less than $50, you can't beat it. Everything was SOOOO easy to assemble. The wheel holes are slightly smaller than the screw to ensure a tight fit. No power tools needed; just a firm grip on the screwdriver. I am a 125 lb woman that is just shy of 5'4" and I am NOT in shape. If I can do it in 15 minutes, so can you. The drawers open completely so that made it easy moving all of my hanging files from my desk drawer to this cabinet. I am very pleased with this purchase. It fits perfectly under my desk and has wheels!!! I like that it does lock so I can know if things have been tampered with. It's not a safe or anything, but for $50, it's perfect!!!

Good Product - Affordable Price - One Design Flaw
During this COVID-19 closure, I needed a space to WFH. I purchased the cabinet because it was the perfect size. It fits right underneath a card-table I've set up as an extension to my desk. I loved that it had a lock option* and wheels. This is their design flaw, however. The drilled holes to screw on the wheels is too small. It's likely best that the cabinet be on flat ground anyway; therefore, I am not missing having the wheels. The company should fix the issue or ditch the wheels and knock the price down a few dollars. Overall, I'm still satisfied and got what I wanted.*If you have super important files, get a lock box or a safe. I'm just keeping nosy family members out of my work stuff.

Exactly what I wanted
My little basket stuffed with envelopes that served as my filing system for many years had become an overflowing, disorganized, headache and eyesore. I decided it was finally time to upgrade to an actual file cabinet and was hoping for something around $50, but was willing to pay a little more for quality. I liked the look of this one, that it holds hanging folders, that it has wheels... and I really liked the price. It arrived in perfect condition, without any scratches, dings, or dents, and no parts missing. The little bit of assembly to put on the handles and wheels took me maybe 15 minutes. So easy, I barely looked at the instructions, and that was only for the rear wheels. The way the rear wheels attatch is kinda odd, but it only took a minute to figure out. (Make sure to use the right size phillips screwdriver so you don't strip the screws.) Everything attached solidly with no looseness. It's not heavy-duty, and probably wouldn't survive being tossed out of a second-story window, but for my basic household needs, it is sturdy enough. The wheels are plastic and would be the weak point with any rough handling. Also, they might need a shot of WD-40 to roll smoothly. The lock is enough to thwart snooping, but anyone with a serious agenda could easily break in. Not an issue for me, as I don't intend on using the lock. The file cabinet looks very nice, and my paperwork is finally neat, organized, and easily accessible. Hurray!(Mine came from Office Supply)

It rolls!
Ok, I don't know how excited one can get about a file cabinet.....I see it is now $91.00. I paid $66.99 in June, so when you see reviews that say they got a great deal, don't always assume it is for the price you see the day you are looking at the item. I saw others say they paid $55. I guess it depends on the day. At the $91.00 price, I may shop a little more or try my local office supply or Costco. It's metal and not purchased for looks, but for function. If you want something that looks good with your decor, then buy a cabinet that looks like an end table.I got this for my Mom to help her organize a little. The rollers make it portable which is a nice feature. It is just big enough on the top hold a small HP all in one Printer/Fax machine. It's fairly easy to put together. You have to install the 2 handles and the 4 rollers and that's it. I'd say for the price, it's a good file cabinet. It has a lock, but I don't know how strong it is to keep truly valued documents protected. Get a safe if you have something that important to lock up.

Pretty good file for very low price
I was between a three and a four rating and wish I could give it a 3.5 since it's quite functional and very inexpensive. It is also, however, a very light duty cabinet. If we're just a tiny bit heavier and a tiny bit wider it would get a four or possibly even a five. The manufacturer has this one scrimped down to the minimum as far as dimensions and metal gauge are concerned but it does indeed work pretty well considering the cost..Some other reviews mention the lock being balky or weak or whatever and I didn't even try mine. If you need serious security, this isn't the place to look.Assembly was easy and fast. Appearance is very good. Once loaded with a few files, it's actually more stable but you probably should spend more (a lot more) if you need a cabinet for daily service. For people who just want to organize their household papers and files and who do NOT work in the cabinet regularly, this is a pretty good solution at a very low price.
