It was very easy to install, and, works very well.

I like the product with bracket

What I liked about this was that the ignition coil and the control module was already heat sinked onto one unit, and that it possible improved my no spark issue. The only thing I didn't like, but had nothing to do with the ICM, was the mounting under the wire bundle bracket seated on top and sandwiched on the bottom on the mount bolts to remove so that you can install this new one on, but that was a GM issue. This thing performed as described, arrived on time, wasn't faulty, and was a great value for the money. Overall it is a great replacement, I can't complain. Get yourself one that come like this instead of them separate, it'll save your pockets.

Do not buy this. I only purchased this because my husband balked at the price of the coil and module sold separately at the auto store. Age old lesson learned. We were trying to save $60 but instead got slammed with a mechanic bill for much much more. One of the mounting brackets were broke, that was the minor issue. After 2 days of working just fine the vehicle just died 2 blocks from home. We got it towed and I fussed him thinking he installed it wrong. The next day the car started right up. This happened again that day and we had it towed to the mechanic. I thought for sure he did something wrong when installing. After a day of tests my mechanic called beyond aggravated. Essentially, this cheap electronic device wasn't communicating correctly with the vehicle. It took him this long to determine because it kept throwing off his diagnostic reading, giving him conflicting readings. He knew we replaced the part so he took it out (barely weighs anything which should have been an indicator) and replaced with one of his. Worked just fine. I could have easily fried our entire electronics system. And yes, I double checked the listing and it says it's a match for our vehicle and no I'm not a Karen going around leaving bad reviews for the fun of it. Save yourself time, money, and a headache and buy the more expensive one from a reputable brand.
