Can I use it while I lift weight e.g. deadlifts, squats, and bench presses?

For me as a CrossFitter it real helps in sorness coming from the big lifts. It was even a part for my shoulder recovery!

Have these claims and statements been evaluated/approved by the fda? seems like just a very expensive tens/ms unit to me...
