I bought this headlamp strap as a replacement for a Black Diamond Spot 350 and 325. Perfect fit. The grip on the inside is a nice feature that the original didn't have. It covers approximately half of the circumference of the head and most importantly contacts the forehead area.

After 20 years the elastic headband on my Petzl Tikka was no longer any good. It just wouldn't stretch and hold its shape. This new band gave my old headlamp a new life! There is a little slot on one of the new headband plastic pieces that let's you unhook the band and thread the end through the headlamp slots. Now there is plenty of holding power and the silicone strip helps keep band in place. The fit was completely adjustable and comfortable. Cheaper than a new headlamp and a good value for the quality. Try it!

I bought this as i gave up hope of Black Diamond ever restocking replacement 1 inch headbands. The BD Storm is an outstanding headlamp, with an appallingly awful headband (as many of you will already know). BD sells replacement headband for $3.95 but since 2020 they have been out of stock. My concern for this replacement was that that the band has no sewn on forehead patch to cover the mounting plastic on the back of the lamp. I was concerned that it would press into the skin after fitting this band. So my experience so far. I fitted this about a month ago, i use the headlamp daily, often multiple times, that is why i go through the BD ones so easily. The headband is tight, not as much elastic "give" as the original. However the silicone strips on the contact side grip the head very well, so it is not necessary to wear it anywhere nearly as tight as the original. It stays in place, walking, running, bending over, head underneath a vehicle, etc no problem. So given it does not require such tight fitting, that alone should help it last longer the BD ones. Once i got used to the more relaxed fit, this design requires, i have been very happy with it. Cons. If it had a forehead patch sewn on to cover the mounting plastic on the lamp, it would be worth the $10 asking price. But given there are not a lot of decent options to replace these headbands, i just have to accept it. I do not like to oversized logo plastered around the headband, which is reflective. Pros. Fits well, strong, grips well, does not move under motion. Seems to be high quality elastic material. Only time will tell, but it certainly feels much better the the BD originals. Easy to fit to the BD lamps. I would much rather buy this, than buy another "disposable" BD headlamp.

I ordered this strap as a replacement for my Black Diamond headlamp's original band. It comes in a resealable plastic bag and is made of very substantial feeling elastic. Unlike the original, there is a think strip of a polymer material around the inside center of the strap. This material provides extra grip when in use and should prevent shifting even when damp from rain or sweat. Installations was slightly more challenging with this strip as it makes the strap thicker at that middle point. However, it still installed easily and has plenty of adjustment room available. For more expensive or sentimental headlamps, this is a great way to keep them in service at a very reasonable price.

This is a replacement for my Black Diamond headband that lost its elasticity. This band is sturdy, easy to adjust, and stays in place.

I purchased the Weltool Elastic Headlamp Strap Replacement Headband for my Energizer rechargeable headlamp. My headlamp came with a bungee cord strap that was uncomfortable to wear and was always getting tangled in my hair, causing my hair to pull out. My husband was able to attach this strap with a few modifications to my headlamp. Basically, he had to make the slits for the strap a bit wider (up and down) and he cut the diagonal slits to allow for the strap to be inserted because this strap is a continuous loop. The instructions on how to do all of this were found, and were easy to follow, within the listing for this Weltool replacement strap. I will say that I LOVE this Weltool replacement strap! This is so comfortable to wear and the rubberized grip strip makes sure that the headlamp stays in place. If I ever need another replacement strap for a headlamp, I will definitely purchase this again.
