Gozney Roccbox Pizza Turning Peel, for 12" Pizza

My reaction when I opened the box was, "no way this thing is worth the price." It was small and lightweight. But I must admit after using it for a day worth of pizza making, it is the perfect dimension for turning pizza in the Roccbox. Is it overpriced for what it is? Yes. Is it the perfect tool for this oven? Absolutely. The oven is high-end, and you get what you pay for. This tool is perfectly designed for the oven, makes since they would charge top dollar to match the price point on the oven. Now Roccbox needs to make a 8-9" round perforated peel for easier loading and unloading.

Proper technique requires turning and this peel is perfect to turn and manage the pizza in the oven. I get the bottom crispy then hold the pizza off the stone slightly with this peel to finish the top cooking. It is sturdy and well made. My only qualm is that the peel should be $30 so it’s probably overpriced a fair amount. However it’s the best on the market so the cost is long forgotten based on my satisfaction.

Despite of expensive price, this turning peel is very nice!! because this made with stainless steel, and easy to handle due to short length. I’m using ooni koda, and this is perfect matching!!

Thin edge with compact size makes it easy to turn and manipulate pizzas of all sizes. Sturdy, light weight and comfortable grip. Easy to clean.

Needed a small diameter turning peel with a long handle for my small gas fired oven after burning my hair and eyelids from a burst a flame while using a short handle wide peel. There's nothing like using the right tool for the job, finally I can turn my pizza easily and quickly several time before it gets burned and without risking a burn myself. I'm giving it only 4 stars because I think its overpriced. Quality seems good though.

Only used the Gozney once before buying this and this made all the difference in the pizza. So easy to turn that 500° dough and perfectly cook the pizza. If you don't know anyone who has one that you can borrow you need to get your own.

I bought this turning peel for use with a non-Gozney 12" oven, and it's exactly what I needed. Once pizzas are launched into the oven, this makes it so easy to turn still-cooking pies without needing to pull the pizza from the oven and rearrange. The whole process of turning the pizzas is easier than I thought it would be thanks to this peel.
