Planters Nuts on the Go Salted Peanuts, 1 oz single-serve bags, 48-Count

I like 'em. I like 'em a lot. They are a good snack size. If I get a big jar, I tend to eat them all. Then I spend the rest of the day crying about how I am going to end up fat for my lack of willpower. This is an easy solution for that problem. I bought a huge box of these things, and put them on the boat. When I'm diving, I can open a pack of these on the surface interval between dives and they make a great snack to provide energy for the next dive. I've also found that the seagulls really like these. I can spit them at the gulls floating near the boat and they'll dive under for them, catching them as they are sinking. It's a great way to pass the time during those boring surface intervals. I guess it's true that it really doesn't take much to occupy the mind of a child.

It was weird for me to order food online, but I couldn't find what I wanted locally. I wanted a box of small packages of peanuts for grab and go school snacks, off to a game, and to take packages with us on a cruise to carry "prepackaged" snacks off the ship to ports. These were a great price, the individual packages are the perfect size, and they are very fresh and tasty. I am happy I purchased these.

The size and packaging is perfect for our use. With my young grandchildren, we do "travel" learning. I've made each of them a passport and plane tickets, luggage tags, etc., to fly off to other lands we have learned about through art, stuffed animals, crafts, books, and other means. At the end of our week and learning, we line up dining chairs to simulate a flight while watching an "in-flight" movie on the TV. These peanuts are a staple in our flight snacks and the youngsters love them. I toss a couple packages into our real travel bags when heading off somewhere, too. I especially like being able to toss a couple packages into or backpacks when adventuring out by foot.

Just the right serving size, carry them with you, long shelf life.

Peanuts, by American nature, are a baseball snack. Unfortunately, any major, minor, or junior league game offers them at a pretty shiney penny. So instead of spending half of my wallet on one bag of peanuts at the game, I opted to buy a collection of peanuts and bring them myself. For families with kiddos this is a great way to save a bit of money. There are 48 packs in this set. Each package is just the right size for a kid aged from 5 to 12. Toddlers could probably eat about half of a pack. And teenagers could probably eat two packs. The packages are easy to open and because they're each individual- every single kid in the family can have their own package (instead of all sharing one big bag). They're also easily portable so you can stick a collection in your purse and pull them out when you need them. Great for little league games, picnics, school lunches, and road trips. These are heavily salted- which we personally prefer, but some people may not enjoy. They do leave salt on your fingers, so you might want to bring whipes with if you're headed somewhere other than at home (it prevents an extra hand washing trip to the bathroom). The serving size is fairly small- so they make a good snack, but they're certainly not an entire meal. Great for afternoons! I gave them four stars because I think the canned Planters peanuts taste better. These didn't seem as fresh as the canned ones- but they were yummy nevertheless.

I found them to be perfectly peanut shaped, and just the right amount of peanut flavor. Also, the bags are shiny and open easily. Which is important when you are very hungry. The box they come in, however, required a little more muscle but luckily there were a few guys in my office who would get the box open for me. I will order these peanuts again, perhaps for a snack, or as stocking gifts, or maybe to feed to the squirrels at the park. Well, to be honest, i would share them, not just give them all away. They are are just too delicious. I especially like that they don't have shells.

When I received this package - 10 minutes ago - I noticed it had been damaged. I checked that portion of the box and discovered that the opening of the box had been breached in order to reach the inner box. I counted the bags of peanuts and further discovered that four (4) bags of peanuts were missing (only contained 20 out of 24) The box had been taped but cleared was the victim of a "reach in" theft. This is pretty sleazy. Don't you pay your employees enough so they can buy their own food?

This is the third time I bought these. I use them for packed lunches. They are just the right size.

Excellent peanuts. Excellent small packages for travelling.

That's the flavour I've been missing. Will be ordering more later on. Would be nice to find the smaller Halloween bags I used to buy.
