Fixed our LED down light flickering
We had issues with a GB electrical 3 way dimmer. The most used switch started to fail causing the lights to flicker. I replaced the individual dimmer with this and itโs so much better than the GB one. The feel is smoother, dimmable range is adjustable and programmable (default worked right out of the box for me) and we have zero flicker on any setting. Itโd be too expensive to replace every dinner in the house with this but any time they fail I will - Worked perfectly so far. Dimming may be a bit slow for some people but itโs hardly a deficiency - It actually dims in smaller increments so gives you the opportunity to choose the level more easily. Only downside is that when being used with GB electrical plates (which are nice, thick quality) the threaded section doesnโt protrude much, but itโs not a big deal. Hopefully reliability on this wonโt be an issue but Iโll need to wait a few years to seeโฆ

Pricey but good quality replacement
Early days but this proved to be an easy fix for a fussy dimmer switch. All you need to do is change the module behind the faceplate. Wish I had done this ages ago. It comes with comprehensive instructions, a wiring diagram, and programming instructions to change the dimmer settings. And you don't need to change the faceplate! The light comes up instantly and responds to dimming much quicker than before. No flicker. It is an expensive part but still cheaper than my local electrical wholesaler.

Good Quality LED Dimmer
Works great. Previous dimmer caused the LED lamps to randomly flash, this dimmer resolved the problem.

Excellent dimmer module
I'm now on my 3rd of these and am very impressed. In my lounge I've got two banks of 5 ceiling LEDs controlled by a double dimmer; both Enlite modules, both got a bit temperamental after a few years, not dimming, flickering and being a bit of a pain. Then on of them started buzzing and emitting a distinct smell of burning plastic. Time to replace. I replaced both with V-Pros and they just worked from the get-go: no flickering, no buzzing, perfect min/max (I haven't bothered programming them). My 3rd I got to replace another Enlite module in my dining room (again controlling a bank of ceiling LEDs), but I've just used it in our new conservatory: we've got a bank of 5 ceiling LEDs and a pair of wall lights, controlled by a double dimmer (Enlite modules). The max/min of the LEDs was fine, but the wall lights (with 60w dimmable LED bulbs) were like a pair of anaemic glow worms. I swapped the Enlite module controlling them with the V-Pro and it made a significant improvement to max brightness. Again no programming. I've reduced ease of install by 1 star because I've found that in a double dimmer I've had to invert the modules (wires at the top, not bottom) because one of them snags the earth mounting on the face plate, then invert the face plate so the wires still reach, which means the left and right switches are swapped. Not a massive deal.

Dimming is exceptionally slow
This is my second time to install this product and the first dimmer I installed continues to work well after about a year of use. The product is easy to install. Also, the product dims a fair range of light brightness and I experience no flicker with any of the bulbs I have installed. The downside as compared with other dimmers I have is that when adjusting the dimmer, the reaction time is considerably delayed. This makes adjusting the dimming rather hit and miss. After adjustment is made, you then need to wait a second to see the result. As well, this results in a delay of a second for lights to turn on. However, with my other dimmers lights turn on and adjust instantaneously.

Good dimmers but expect latency
These are great little dimmers, smaller than the 20 year old MKs they are replacing (but different 10mm thread). The programming features are very useful but expect a start up delay (latency) of 1s to 2s after pushing the button. This is with quality, Crompton filament dimmable LED bulbs which start up in less than 0.5s on a switch. The dimmer has a soft start (checked using and incandescent bulb) during which the LED bulb doesn't light. Customer service say this is normal for LEDs and can't change the soft start. Tried various modes and settings to no effect. Annoying but liveable. Maybe other bulbs fare better. Video shows ceiling light on a simple on/off switch and 1 of 3 wall lights on this dimmer. Same bulb type.

Programmable
Worked perfectly. Easy to install. What I didnโt appreciate was how useful the program settings were. I had a single 8w Philips bulb that worked fine in the default mode and hummed in others. I also had a chandelier with 3 g9s which did work in the default mode, but in mode 2 or 3 worked much better, giving greater range (more dim and more bright). It seems mode 1 is a general mode that can handle halogen bulbs and 2 and 3 are led specific. You can also set minimum or maximum brightness, if you do have led bulbs that flicker. Overall really chuffed and it was much cheaper than replacing my brass dimmer switches. The three different modes are awesome, as Iโd have been really unhappy the g9 bulbs given how the behaved in standard dimming mode.
