Men's South Street Sport 36mm Watch Box Set

My sons all pooled their money 10 years ago and bought me a very similar Timex watch that has finally worn out. So I replaced it with this one. It looks great, feels good on the wrist and works perfectly. No techy stuff just a simple analog watch with time, date and day and I love the Idiglo feature! I really like the leather wristband and was pleasantly surprised that I did not need any tools to install it. I'm used to needing a pointy knife or such to depress the spring loaded pins, this one has a small lever to assist in swapping out the bands with only my fingernail.

First of all, the shipment was really quick, and the package was completely fine - no scratches, both boxes inside and outside were untouched. The watch itself was absolutely as described and in the picture, everything perfect! I believe that things can tell about their owner, and for this great price you get a watch that looks simple yet serious and high quality. I used to have another Timex which I lost about a year ago. Now I have one again, and with all the new devices of today, it is nice to have something which runs on a battery for a loooong time! As far as features, the numbers on the face and teh hands are easily readable, and the famous INDIGLO makes sure that happens in all conditions. The crown is designed in such a way that the notches which make it easy to turn still make it look completely smooth. The bracelet is long enough for people with larger wrists, but can be adjusted even on your own, which I did at home without special equipment in about 40 minutes after looking at some instructions. The size of the watch itself is just a bit smaller than what you find in "standard" men's watches, but still works fine for me. The face is covered with very nice mineral glass which will resist scratching from most things you may encounter at home or at work. As far as disadvantages, if you are concerned about the bracelet catching your hair, its true, but only when you take it on or off, and doesn't bother me, even though I am of a "more hairy" kind of guy. Also, in the picture, the watch piece looked somewhat thick, but now that I have it on my nand, it doesn't look that day. Otherwise, there is nothing else to mention really. It is a nice watch which will do what it's supposed to for many years if it doesn't accidentally get damaged by something serious. Overall, this design of a watch is good if you like something good-looking and practical and without unnecessary "bling", even if you are young.

so the watch itself is beautiful, i was skeptical about the champagne face but it’s so pretty in person, i wanted a watch that I would wear with gold and silver jewelry and would last decently well. i don’t question it’s quality, seems well made and the face came with no scratches. indiglo did work, timing works great. my only thing is that the band is stretchy, which i love the concept of, but as a nearly 6 foot tall woman with, honestly, just light arm hair, the watch felt almost tight. since the watch had to stretch to get over my hands, the band felt like it would catch my arm hair and sorta pinch, or maybe my skin? idk. once it’s positioned in the right place it isn’t too bothersome at all, but I am picky and i want to be spending money on smth that’s completely comfortable and i don’t have to get pinched lolol. if you are an average person with an average build and average sized arms, the watch is prolly perfect. but i cannot image this being particularly comfy for a man who is more built, anyone plus sized (like myself, size 16-18), or just has large hands/wrists or a lot of hair. the actual watch is lit af, i just don’t like the pinching!!!! i had to leave a review to warn my fellow amazon shoppers lol, leave a like if u were warned. I am returning, but i genuinely really like the watch and i think it’s totally worth the money (i got it for $40 at the time of purchase). i obviously cannot speak for longevity but i have owned multiple timex watches and they tend to last a while!!!

First things first: this thing will do it's best to make your wrist hairless as a porpoise. It's a metal expandable band, and it will pluck every hair out of your arm while you wear it. It fits my wrist without even stretching, so it's not like it's even squeezing my wrist or anything. It's a pretty decent watch, but it does feel kind of cheap. You get what you pay for, so I'm not going to rag on it too hard about that. But the light in it also doesn't fully work on mine, a portion of it doesn't light up. So the quality control leaves a little to be desired as well. Overall it's a nice looking beater watch that will get the job done, but I do find myself wearing it less often than my other watches because it plucks my arm hairs like nobody's business.

As I was contemplating buying another Timex (I was very happy with my previous one that lasted several years as a work watch), I was not concerned about the style, or quality, or price of this watch. I was concerned about the mention from several people that it might be too small. I have a smaller wrist, so I ordered it and am very happy that I did. It is very nice and fit me perfectly. Secondly, the issue about the wristband "pulling your arm hairs". This is a legitimate concern. If you have really hairy wrists, it could be a factor. Again, in my case it was not an issue I would highly recommend any Timex watch. Excellent value!
