First thing I like about this case besides the fact that it uses the lightning cable to charge is that it has the biggest capacity I've seen on a battery case (8,500mAh). That's almost 3 times the battery of the iPhone 7 Plus I'm using this on. I've used various other charging cases like the Mophie and I don't like having to carry a couple other cables with me. Now I don't have to! With how big the capacity of this charging case, I don't have to carry a power bank either. Another plus is that it looks just like any other case where the shape is the same on the too and bottom. It doesn't have th extra part on the bottom or a "lip/chin" like most charging cases do. The only problem I think that will arise is that the lightning tip that slides into the charging port of the iPhone will be subject to breakage. If you take your phone in and out of the case then this can be a problem. The inside of the case does have a picture warning you not to slide your iPhone at an extreme angle. Only time will tell...

This unit so far has worked well so far. We have increased our Face-Time calls on our iphones by over 2x. We plan to use the case mainly when we are traveling, camping or away from a charger for a while. This could also be used in a bug-out bag for emergency phone power. The only issue with the battery case (that most of these have) is that it adds a good amount of thickness and weight to your phone. Definitely not something you want to carry around all day long if you have chargers available. 4 stars mainly for the added thickness and weight. My phone battery has been dying quicker so I decided to get a charging case for days where I use my phone more often. That being said I planned on alternating between this case and a slimmer case depending on my daily needs. However, on the first time I went to switch to a slimmer case, the lightning connecter in the charger case snapped right off. There was little to no resistance when it broke hinting at the poor build quality of the product. I would recommend looking into slightly more expensive options to prevent headaches down the line. Furthermore, the charging port for the case was larger than a normal lightning port and the charging cable would often fall out. Overall poor quality.

I would have given all stars with this product as it actually does the job it was intended for, which is to help charge & raise the battery of the phone when low. Unfortunately the process of charging the battery case itself is a headache and a big hassle as the connection between the wire and the case itself is so loose that the wire will not stay in place connected. I have had this problem since day one of getting this phone case and it has become so problematic at night when I am trying to charge the phone via the battery case as the wire never stays in place. I didn’t even realize the issue existed the first couple of days but only noticed that the phone never got charged throughout an eight hour. It was until I got into the vehicle car and tried charging it through that method did I realize that the wire would not stay in place. I have to use tape to have it stay in place at night or position it in such a way as to have the wire connected to get a full charge. I’m entirely sure if anyone else is having this issue or if this was just a bad batch that I received. Any ideas and this will be very appreciated as I am getting to my very limit at this point

Easy to use and it looks very nice!

The case works well but I have a couple of things if I had know I would have chosen another product. First it doubles your battery life but you have to push the button on the back of the case for it to charge your phone. It doesn’t automatically double your battery life. Second it dose automatically double the weight of your phone. I have the iPhone 8+ and it is one of the heavier phones already but with the case if you dropped it on your foot it could break a toe easily. Third it blocks reception of service. Especially in weak signal areas, and when sending or receiving pictures. If your are in the city all the time and don’t do any traveling your probably good but on the interstate or in rural areas you will have to remove your phone from the case. The case is very durable and fits perfectly and does increase battery, but if your a heavy user you need to make sure you push the button on the back at 90% battery. If you wait till it’s below 50% it will never gain any battery % and you will use up your reserve and be down to 20% before you know it. It also stops charging your phone sometimes and you will be at 80 or 90 % for some reason. Almost like it has a timer built in that once you push the button it will charge for a certain amount of time the stop. I think it’s so the phone battery or the case battery doesn’t get to hot. I’m not sure on that cause I have pulled the phone out of the case to see how hot it might be when it has done that. All and all for the price it does a good job but I would spend a few more dollars to just have my phone stay at 100% till the case battery was depleted and not have to always push the button and maybe not have the case block my signal

This is not my first battery case and I’m very impressed. It doesn’t take long to charge and can keep my phone at 100% for a very long time. It is not as big as I expected it to be and still fits comfortably in pockets and my hand. The texture is perfect, not too rough where you can’t take it out of pockets but also not too smooth where you drop it. Taking the case off is not as difficult as some of the other reviews that I read say. Just grab the two corners up top and push the case off by pressing the hole for the camera. All in all this is a very affordable and useful case. Highly recommend.

Had 2 of these for iphones over the past xx? (long time). Both worked well. Not too bulky either👊.

Stopped working just after returns window closed. Would not recommend

Disappointing. The main problem is that there is no passthrough on the charging, meaning that the phone can no longer be charged directly when the case is in place, only via the case itself. So, you might be expecting that you'd get the phone battery's regular charge, plus two additional charges from the case. No, you only get power from the case and it's more like 1.5 times rather than 2. It's a very good case, with good protection, very grippable and with a nice weighty feel, but ultimately that's what you are buying and with the downside of losing wireless charging capability.
