I use it for pens, pencils, scissors and whatever else I want to keep handy. It is a good size and height. The colors are beautiful. Quality is great. I recommend to anyone wanting this handy gadget.

I bought this to use as a pencil cup but it's so pretty that I decided instead to put it on my fireplace mantel next to a unique lavender candle that I have. I love this cup, the design with the butterfly is really lovely and beneath the butterfly is a phrase "Be the change" which I also think is really special. (the butterfly design is on both sides of the cup and not just the front!)

The item is as advertised. Pretty and the weight is good so that it does not tip over.

While the pen holder is cute, it's not the "large capacity" it says it is. It's like a regular/standard size "coffee" mug if you will. My pens and highlighters and sharpies are jamb packed in there. I'll keep it until I find something else in person, but doesn't get 5 stars because it's not LARGE as the description says, unfortunately. I passed up handfuls of these at TJ Maxx because of the size. Little did I know.

The inner box was somewhat damaged, but the item is too sturdy to be damaged so easily (and, furthermore, was bubble-wrapped). So no problem there. Contents was a bit dusty(?) on arrival, but easily solved with a disinfectant wipe.
