JBL Flip 5 Bundle, Gray (Pack of 2)

Good quality, good sound, love the stereo ability. My only complaint is battery isn't replaceable. I had the Flip 4 and eventually the battery wouldn't charge any longer.

These JBL speakers are great! I've tried many other sets, and returned all of them because of poor quality sound. I'm relieved to have finally found a quality set for a decent price. These are just what I needed, to have music playing from my Spotify in multiple rooms of my house via Blutooth. With the JBL app, you can play your music in PARTY MODE (both speakers sound the same, to play in separate rooms) or STEREO MODE (for a surround sound experience, for a movie) AND you can play them individually. In terms of sound quality, these are the best on the market for their size. Great quality sound, projection, volume range and and bass! I got the white, and I like the minimal design and material feel. I like them so much, I might buy another set, because you can pair up to 100 speakers, says the app. The only downfall is pairing with the app is a little tricky- a few more steps than I'd prefer- but easy enough to figure out. Overall, I highly recommend this speaker set!

I bought this 2pack because it made each speaker cheaper than buying 2 individually. Did I need 2? No. Did I need to buy 3 more JBL speakers after these two? No. Did I do all of this anyway? Absolutely. Important notes: These use PartyBoost, NOT Connect or Connect+, and will not connect to older speakers. At time of review, the only JBL speakers on PartyBoost are the Flip 5, Pulse 4, and Boombox 2. Given that these are intended to be portable, you can only expect so much from sound quality. They're much better than my previous BT speaker, which is nice. And being able to have mini surround sound with partyboost is real nice. Having them charge via USB C rather than USB Micro is a big draw. They get plenty loud and remain clear when you blast them. Don't expect the same quality you'd get out of a thousand dollar speaker and you'll be plenty happy. Drawbacks: -These use Bluetooth 4.2 instead of 5.x. It's a bit of a confusing choice, but all BT is backwards compatible, so it's not much of an issue. And it's so much better than my previous speaker. I can actually step a few feet away without them immediately cutting out! but using the newest standard would have been cool. -One of the two occasionally "chirps". Just a really quick short beep. This happens so infrequently that I can't tell if it's a manufacturing defect, a bluetooth hiccup, or maybe an issue with PartyBoost? The one I have connected directly to my phone does not seem to chirp, but the one connected via PartyBoost does. But I can listen all day and MAYBE hear it once or twice. Quite possibly not at all. Not enough to turn me off, but enough to be a tad annoying. Overall very pleased!

Been using JBL for years. The speakers connect so easy and the sound is amazing, highly recommend atleast a pair of them to get the deep, rich sound quality.

Really nice sounding. Waterproof, but don't float. Sometimes (walk around) I can set them 20ft apart, camping. Can't walk around with phone in pocket. Cuts out. randomly, cuts out even if phone is sitting stationary. I've used cheaper single speakers and can walk around 20-30 feet and NO CUT OUT. Cheap, Bluetooth works perfect. Sound not so good. These expensive JBL Bluetooth sucks, sound is really good.

--But I looked into renting some old-school PA system-style speakers for a backyard BBQ and the cost of renting two speakers was roughly equivalent to purchasing a pair of these babies. GREAT DECISION ON MY PART. SHOCKINGLY loud and definitely higher quality sound than I was expecting. Also the gray model pictured is roughly the size of a can of Tennis balls and practically invisible in low light. I stationed two on opposite sides of the yard and pulled the music up on my phone while my wife was watching and it was so loud and immersive it felt like I was doing a magic trick. Also the EASIEST bluetooth speakers I've ever used. Quick intuitive pairing and very easy to add a second (or chain) of speakers to the first, for parties or surround sound in a room. Thinking about getting a third for true immersion, but to be honest, two of them are already as loud as the PA system I considered renting. Loud enough that we will absolutely disturb our neighbors, but they're cool and I'm going to give them a heads up. BTW, do not use these at the beach. They're waterproof, but everyone at the beach will hate you. I will hate you. Don't ruin the beach. These are for your own spaces after you talk to your neighbors.

I purchased the set of 2 JBL flip Bluetooth speakers. I was really hopeful for these to be a great set of linkable Bluetooth speakers. I used to own an Dj business with thousands of dollars in gear, all JBL, and those speakers worked great for years. After 3 months, I feel like I can give an honest review. The link function is seamless 80% of the time. The sound is crisp if you set these in adjacent corners of a room. Unfortunately, that’s where the pros end. Pairing often doesn’t work with even one speaker and I have to re-pair. Sometimes linking just doesn’t happen without multiple attempts. The app doesn’t improve any aspect of this. The sound will often cut out. Overall, the price here isn’t justified because I’ve had better experiences with much cheaper off brand speakers. At this point, I do not recommend purchasing the JBL flip Bluetooth speakers.

Good travel speaker. No issues with connectivity. They are small, but are loud enough keep you entertained.

The JPL Flip 5 is a good product, it gives a perfect sound in spite of its size and value. I can use it when operating it with my cellphone, unfortunately it's not compatible to my laptop,. With the authorization the seller who agreed to refund full money Cdn$259.85 back to my account plus postage but limited to Cdn20.00. The item was returned and received by the seller in U.S. as they instructed. However from their email advice to me, and after checking from my bank, only Cdn$ 0.01 was refunded, it was so ridiculous, so I sent my email for clarification However I am very disappointed and frustrated on receiving their reply saying that they will not respond to my request and instead, they simply ask to contact Amazon.ca directly for solutions, not even a contract number was provided. Until now, I am still struggling to seek a way to ask my money back. With the help from Amazon. Ca two days ago, the full refund is credited back to my bank account today. I am much appreciated for the immediate response from Amazon.ca. Thank you.

Llego en tiempo, las dos bocinas en buen estado sin maltratar, y ya usándolas, sin problema alguno, cargan bien, se escuchan bien... fue una buena inversión

Es complicado emparejarlas o conectarlas juntas a la misma salida. O haces una o la otra pero ambas E batallan y las instrucciones no son claras. Si lo hemos logrado dos veces después de mucho intentarlo y la verdad ni sabemos bien como le hicimos pero una vez logrado funcionan muy bien.

What is the point of buying “A SET” of Bluetooth speakers if they won’t connect at the same time and both work. Total garbage like every other JBL speaker I pissed away money on here for

Calidad segura con JBL, modo fiesta que es mono aural es simple de lograr, ambas al mismo tiempo sonando igual. Sin embargo yo las pedí para su uso como stereo y he seguido las instrucciones del sitio oficial de JBL y aparte de ser sus instrucciones de lo mas poco precisas y nada explicitas ya que no cuenta con capturas de pantalla o imágenes de la app intenté de varias maneras lograr la conexión en modo stereo y no me fue posible. Si quieren sonido stereo fácil hay otras marcas que con un simple botón hacen sonido stereo sin necesidad de apps y funciona en pantallas, laptops, celulares, etc. Me quedó a deber esta ocasión JBL
