It's rugged and durable looking. While it's "easy" to install it doesn't hurt to make sure your soil is moist and maybe use a flat shovel or edger to make a slot for each piece. The rubber mallet is a must unless your soil is extremely loose...a metal hammer could ruin the pieces.Each piece nicely slips into its neighbor and in an hour I had 20' of lawn adjacent to curb finished so that water and soil won't wash into the street. The fact that it's individual pieces is good as the long, connected products are hard to get level...you pound on one end and up goes the other. THIS is a proven winner!

Great product that solved my issue at an affordable price. I had stone that was lining the beds on the driveway and every time it rained caused dirt to stain the concrete. With a rubber mallet put this in quickly and solved the problem! Looks great and holds in the dirt! Great value, easy to install, looks great!

This product is easy to install, assuming there are not too many rocks, roots, or overly hard soil. Preparing ahead with a straight edged shovel is then a good idea. Also, plan on some breakage if the soil is even modestly hard. I found that the bendable portions will crack fairly easily, even if using a good rubber mallet. I found that pounding each section evenly will help somewhat to avoid this. In spite of a few broken pieces, I am pleased with this product. It looks nice and stays in place well.

If I could give this 6 stars, I would. I have used the cheap roll of stuff that Big Logs sells and I have used other hammer-in products, so I was a little skeptical of all these great reviews, but decided it was worth a try. Now granted, I was just replacing the Big Lots stuff, so I didn't need to hammer at all - I just needed to tap the "female" piece into place with the back of my hand rake. But it was SO fast and easy! The connection was nice and tight so that they stayed together and stayed level, even after I stopped looking back at my earlier ones to check on them. And they're a nice height, so I'm hoping that the mulch in my front yard will stay put when it rains, like one of the other reviewers said. The only problem I had was that I needed a 90 degree turn, which people here said was possible. And it IS possible, but I need to have started at that corner and bent one of the pieces to make the turn, rather than assuming that I could connect a piece at a 90 degree angle, which doesn't work - not a complaint - that's how the pieces stay together so well. I would highly recommend this product and am on my way to buy more now!

Very, very sturdy.....a quality product that you can bang and bang with your rubber mallet and they won't bend or break.

In theory, the edging was easy to install but it was not very sturdy. The issue I ran into was that half of the pieces were cracked right at the joint that slides into the other piece. So when you'd hammer the pieces down into each other the crack would make that piece totally break off- leaving it useless. This could probably be fixed by better packaging. The pieces were all bundled together and being thrown around during shipping is probably what caused the cracks.

The product is so easy to install. I have spent hours installing other edging. I love the short length of the pieces which gives me the ability to make curves or corners or go straight. I put the edging where I want it, hammer it with a mallet and create a design. My garden looks so professional now. I love it. There is a point in time where one has to evaluate their time and energy vs. cost. This product is a little more expensive and worth every penny to me. I bought 2 packages, then decided to expand the design by one package, then ordered one more. I plan to order another package this fall.

We are a new house owner and was working on my front yard flower bed on one side and English shrub garden on other side ... also my kitchen garden in the back yard ..... All done very well but I could not able to find the right borders to make all these gardens neat looking and separated from yard... bought some from lowe's and some from home depot but nothing worked out some of them were flimsy to put into the mud to stand up right ... some of them are too hard to dig in .. and if they do go in after all my hard work they will pop out back next day , as they didn't have spikes to dig in easily and stay back there... but finallyyyyy I found these on Amazon and they solved my life's problem ... I was hesitated to buy them at first ... price was lil high for us as we spent all after buying house and updating it ... but Im glad I did buy ... I could do it so easily just with little few punches on top with hammer ... they have spikes on the bottom so they would not need a lot of force digging into the ground ... I watered the place where I wanted to dig them in and it was such a great help on top of it..... pretty sturdy plastic as the same time easy to bend to give ur garden a nice curvey look..... reasonable nice height to cover ur garden with ur favorite mulch . Need to order few more to cover my back yard kitchen garden . Great buy !!!!

Have purchased 4 lots of these. Very durable & easy to link together. However as some have mentioned previously very difficult to push or hammer into hard ground. Need at least one more set to complete the job however now far too expensive hopefully price will drop back down to something more affordable

This is my second box within a month; they are great, easy to install, and look fantastic—lots of comments. I definitely would re-purchase them again!!! Ross Park
