This review is for the native FHD projector. Yes, it is a native 1080p led projector. connected this to my desktop computer and tested also. Dont bother trying to play videos from USB. Quality is bad. But when connected to right streaming or display source thru hdmi, it is actually quite good. I mean picture quality, colours, brightness etc for a sub 10k projector. In this department this projector can easily compete with many projectors in sub 15k ranges. Sound is also pretty much okay, loud enough more like boat 5w speakers, may be a bit more louder not good quality wise. Quitr workable as portable solution, but not for a permanent setup. Audio output to my studio headphones are pretty decent quality wise and loud also. Meaning 2.1 speakers can be connected to it, for a higher setup, person has to figure out to seperate the audio at the source itself. From 9ft and 3-4 inches distance of lens to wall, we can get exactly 100 inch(87 inch x 49 inch) projection. So, it can be called as short throw projector, albiet may be border level. There is an option to reduce the screen size upto 75% of original size electronically once connected to HDMI. Keystone correction is not usuable at all. That wheel has to be exatly in middle position to get a good focus on whole screen. That means one has to setup the projector or screen at a fixed location. Can not lilt the projector to move screen up or down and then adjust with keystone correction. I. e if you want to keep the projector screen at lower levels, projector also has to fixed at lower levels only. Best focus can be get, when projecting exactly oppsite to the projector probably 5 to 6 inch above, so if we flip the projector upside down, we get best focus opposite to center a few inches down. For mysetup, where projecting only 1.5 feet above from the floor, going to use a wall mount to setup the projector upside down, this way i can fix the projector a bit more above/behind the sofa. I will post the pics later, once it is setup properly. Now the verdict - this projector with a combination of reflective projector screen( look it up on amazon xelectron or minago brand) is one of most vfm combo for approx 11k for experiencing a very bright 100 inch screen experience of good quality for 1 or 2 person. But now that im considering buying one of those expensive fixed frame alr projector screens costing upward of 15k to 30k, im thinikg it would have been better if i could have invested a bit more on a brighter projector(look only ANSI value). This buy was more of an impulse purchase, but it is more then good enough for me now to make me consider much costlier projector screens and then later upgrade to a high end projector. Edit: the biggest drawback of this projector is that dust gets inside on lcd panel, which impacts the clarity also after a few days. I had to clean the panel myselg just after 1.5 month. New lesson learnt, apart from high ansi lumen projector, this is also an important factor for future purchase. Planning to get a custom cloth cover made, so that i dont have to clean it often. Though, Lcd cleaning can be done pretty easily without much opening and its easier compared to youtube videos i have seen for previous model. Somehow lens did not get any dust inside yet. Only the lcd has very very fine dust particles inside.

It's a long dream for me to have E Gate projector and finally my dream came true. I have just started using the i9 pro max projector and I am so happy for it. The picture is very clear. The add on part is in-built speaker in it. The price I got is unbelievable.

I purchased the FHD version for 8990 during this Big Indian Festival sale and these are my initial impressions only. Hope this helps others. My setup: Video: Projector connected to FireTV 4K Max Audio: FireTV connected to 2.1 speaker system via BT Pros: 1. Decent FHD projector for this price point, no other FHD product available at this price 2. Decent brightness (dark room only), clarity and color reproduction at 1080p30 and 1080p60 resolutions. Haven't tested 4k yet. 3. No heating issues so far, even after continuous run of 4-5 hours 4. Simple and basic interface Cons: 1. The internal fan is noisy and you need to play content in higher volume to mask it 2. Biggest design con in my opinion, the lens cap fits only when lens is rotated all the way out (de-focused). So you have to refocus everytime you start the projector. It's frustrating. 3. Interface is too basic, no advanced audio/video configuration options 4. Instruction manual is too basic again Update: Bumped the rating down to 3 star since I discovered this doesn't support any audio other than stereo when using Firestick. Description is somewhat misleading since it says firestick is supported, but this particular audio limitation should have been clearly mentioned. This is a major bummer and discounts the claimed theater experience in my opinion.

I can't say that this projector is really good but at this price point it's nice projector if you ocassionaly watch movies.... Read Full. Pros - gives better and real specs compared to competetors at this price. - Awesome with firestick or android setopbox. - In dark or really low light, image quality can be compared to 14k projector. - have real native resolution of 720p and it's not fake like others in this price. - you will enjoy watching movies and feel good like small theatres in malls....but not like the big ones... - good image quality at 90 inch screen. See the video..my screen is 90 inches - really good remote Cons - I can really complain about it's performace because of its price but...I will tell you what not to expect from this. -----u can barely see the screen if 25w Led bulb is on in 13x15 feet standard room or more like ...really really washed image...20-30 percent or image. -----keystone correction is not great and it have issue if the projector is inclined. Edges are blurry ----- VGA cable performance is bad. As it display full image with VGA. Who should buy this? ---- you are on really strict 6-10k budget ---- you watch movies ocassionaly and.most of times go out for movies and have 42. Or bigger tv already For whom this projector is not --- ---you want to give presentation ...then not for you --- you dnt have means to block light or want to use with one light bulb on....then don't buy it because It won't give you satisfaction of money you spent. It's good projector if you love to watch movies in dark...and images really gets better after viewing for 20 minutes as your eyes get adapt to oylt. Today marks 2 years of this projector and this is the best investment I did in these 2 years. The picture quality is amazing if you pair it with the proper fire stick or similar tech. And the sound is good too, I personally use a 4.1 speaker with Bluetooth for maximum experience. The room immediately transforms into a personal movie theatre. I use it for long hours (10 hours daily continuous use) and it never disappoints. Though it may get heated, so make sure to take breaks which I didn’t btw. Connections: as soon as I turn it on, it immediately connects. No wasting time i waiting unnecessarily. Best performance and quality.
