Good wax resist product
This liquid wax resist works great on bisque fired porcelain and stoneware. I also use it on refired work and over unfired dry glaze. It goes on really smoothly, dries very fast, and stays where I put it. It dries hard and is not tacky to the touch. I use really good handmade brushes and it cleans off in warm soapy water. No damage and no worries. I even forgot to clean a brush for over an hour (yikes) and to my surprise, I was able to remove the dried wax with very warm soapy water. Who knew? I really love this stuff. Harvey Sadow

Best wax around!!!
Works great and it is a nice white color. I’ve tried one other waxes and this easily compares. Someone left a bad review that was not true based off my experience. Paints on easier then others with less resistance. Dries quick and clear. Let it dry all the way and then glaze. Once glazed you can use a sponge to remove extra glaze off of the wax easily and it doesn’t remove the wax. Comes in some wierd foam packaging but worry not.

Must dilute, blue tinted. Works well
This works pretty well. It’s blue tinted. It is also thick so I recommend putting some in a small container when using and diluting with water.

Wax works well
Used on ^04 bisque. Let the wax dry overnight and glazed my pottery the next day to ^6. Worked great. Keeps most of the glaze off the waxed areas. Easily wipes clean (the excess glaze which had beaded up on a couple waxed spots) with a wet paper towel/cloth. Melts away leaving the unfinished clay after fireing. I'll buy it again when it runs out.

Do not Reccommend
Not a good product. Does not work the way wax typically works. Very watery, so you have to use a lot, and then it's clumpy. Very hard to wash out of the brush.... ruined one of my brushes. I will be returning.

Has worked well for me
This was my first use of wax, so I can't compare. The wax solution is thin, but covering bottom of my pieces with 2 coats has worked perfectly in the kiln. I have just washed brushes with warm soapy water immediately after use with no problem so far.

Good product…but
I love the wax but I had to put it in a separate container as the container was tall and skinny therefore prone to tipping unlike the container showed in the product image. Goes on easy enough and does the job well. Love the product just wish I didn’t have to change the packaging.

Expensive but saves time when glazing. No heating required.
