I cook and bake extensively, all of our meals are eaten at home with food I prepare. I also bake all of our bread and rolls, and enjoy making - and gifting - other baked goods including cakes, cookies, and cinnamon rolls. These clear plastic 12"x20" bags with twist ties are a must in my kitchen for food and baked good storage and freezing! - The 12"x20" size is so very useful and versatile. Large enough to cover a 9" paper plate when I gift baked goods placed on the plate. - Great for storing and freezing my homemade sourdough sandwich loaf breads. - Ideal for freezing meat and poultry purchased in value or larger packs, and divided into smaller portions and frozen. - Sized as advertised, and easy to tear off from the roll. This roll is a terrific value, too. I highly recommend this product.

I love making bread, especially sandwich bread. I've been making our sandwich bread for over two years now, and I've always purchased the gallon tie bags from the grocery store. They've been nice enough, but there are not quite large enough for me to put the entire loaf of bread in them, so I would have to cut my loaf in half and use two bags. Annoying, but not terrible. I finally decided to look for a bigger storage bag on Amazon and decided to buy these from Sanrose. I'm super excited because my entire loaf (I believe i use a 14" loaf pan) fits in one bag with plenty of room to spare!!! No more cutting my freshly baked bread in half! This is also a slightly heavier plastic than the gallon ones I was buying from the grocery store, which I like as it helps my bread keep a little longer (which really doesn't last long in the house anyway). It comes with a twist tie (paper and wire) to keep closed, which is necessary, but I've noticed that since it is paper and not waxed coated, after a full loaf or two of storing and twisting, the twist tie starts to fall apart. Not a huge deal, but a little annoying as I like to reuse my twist ties for frozen veggies, waffles, etc. But a great product and I will be rebuying these when I need them again!

I confess I did not purchase these bags to use in the kitchen. I was looking for cheap plastic bags to use with moisturizer to soften my feet overnight. I tried recycling bags from purchased loaves, but they were not the right size to allow for ankle flexibility. I worried these might not be large enough, either, after reading the comments. But the price was right and I'm glad I ordered. The quality surprised me..plenty strong enough for my purposes and for wrapping food. The size is large! I can actually put my size 9 foot right into the bottom of the bag. It was so long it went way up my leg. I cut off most of that because I didn't want that much on my legs while sleeping. So I slather on the lotion, slip on the plastic bread bag "sock", and then slip on the light cotton/poly sock sold for using with lotion at night. Fabulous! What a difference this makes in my feet! I don't want to risk getting a fungal infection because of the moist environment, so I only do this a couple of times per week. The bags are so cheap that this roll is going to last forever.

I use these for home made baked goods and they are strong enough to toss around without ripping and big enough for a wide pan loaf. I have also used for a large ham with bone. I'm not sure it sealed in the liquid as the bowl was wet, but that's why I used a bowl and I don't think they are marketed for wet food. I don't know if my kids found the twist ties before I got them put away or if they were missing from the box, so I don't know if they are adequate. I only gave a 4 star because the bottom seal is not pleated but flat like a sandwich bag.

SANROSE Plastic bread and Grocery Clear Bag on Roll 12x20 1 Roll/cs appx. 350 bags- with Free Twist Ties these are pretty awesome, and worthy of five stars for the deal. i used to use one-gallon ziplock bags from the local grocery. they were low quality bags and were 15 for $1.09. and they were too small for most loaves. when i would bring bread to family or friends, i had to cut the loaves--and that's just the sandwich loaves. but these are huge. they can fit two sandwich loaves or a full 4-cup ciabatta loaf. they are roomy, with perforated easy to remove edges, and the twist ties, though cheap, are useful. and they are cheaper than the small bags i used to buy from the store. i am sure there are better bags out there; but for the deal, this product definitely deserves five stars. im buying another 350 of them to store.

I used to bake more when I was a stay-at-home mom, so I used these as actual bread bags and they were perfect for my homemade loaves. Now, I use them to prep large amounts of veggies by throwing in chopped vegetables, oil, and seasonings and using the "shake and bake" method. They hold up to a lot of weight and are very handy, minimizing extra dishes I would use to season and prep the vegetables. The size is deep enough that they can hold upwards of 2lb of vegetables or 1 large loaf of bread. It took me 5 years of regular use to get through one roll and i just reordered my 2nd roll because it was such a staple in my kitchen.

Great bags. The only reason why I gave it a three-star rating is that there weren't any twist ties. It's going to make it hard to close the bags.

I have struggled with short, thin bread bags for years, they barely fit my loaves from my 5 x 9 bread pans. I decided to try these since they had such good reviews. LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!!! They even fit my 4 x 12 bread loaves with lots of room left over! No more struggles to fit the loaves in the bags, no more cutting loaves in half! Oh, I sure wish I'd bought these earlier. I make all our bread, so we use a lot of bread bags. My daughter makes her bread too and I'm getting her a roll too. Be careful when you open the package though-we had bread ties all over the place. One nice thing though is that plastic, squarish bread clippies can be used on these bags since they are thick enough and sturdy enough!
