What kind of scientific testing and certification do these have?

The test certifications for these filters and - so far as I have been able to find - all other of the non-Samsung replacement filters are inferior. Samsung's certifications include NSF/ANSI 42 (which is frankly just chlorine taste and odor! most aftermarket filters meet only this test); NASF/ANSI 53 which is a test for Asbestos, Atrazine, Benzene, Lindane, Cabofuran, Cysts, Lead, Mercury, and P-Dichlorobenzene (Waterspecialist is certified NSF/ANSI 372 for lead only); and NSF/ANSI 401certified against Metrobamate, Atenolol, Carbamazapine, Trimethroprim, Linuron, Metolachlor, and DEET. You have decide whether these additional test certifications are worth the additional money or not, obviously; but these filters are not equivalent, tho they may be compatible.
