Very handy
I recently tore the ACL in my knee and will be on crutches for a while. I bought this handy crutch bag and have been completely satisfied. I use it to carry items to meetings such as pens, note paper and my no-spill coffee cup while at work. The large pouch is big enough (for those who have their CCW permit) to hold a small handgun like the Ruger LC9. Some have complained about the bag sliding down the crutch. This is easily remedied by using electrical zip ties through the existing holes in the crutch and then slipping the Velcro straps through the zip ties. Less than 5 minutes to attach to the crutch.

It gets the job done.
After reading previous purchasers reviews and studying the available pictures I knew that this carry-on was going to have some issues with staying in the desired elevation upon my crutches. However I also realized this would be quickly resolved with one or two zip ties through the handle adjustment holes. This solution worked as desired in holding the carry-on and doesn't look tacky in my opinion. I mean really...crutches are not that much of a fashion accessory to begin with. If your looking for something that gets the job done, as far enabling you to regain the freedom to be able to readily carry objects now that your hands are otherwise occupied, at a reasonable price and dependability then I would recommend this product.

Love it, but it only needs 1 modification.
I never realized how much stuff we love to carry around until I had ankle surgery. If they'd had this in the store next to the crutches, I would have bought it day 1. The only modification that I feel needs to happen to future styles is make the straps that hold it can be tightened with something other than velcro, since if I secured it to the hand grip, I had difficulty grabbing onto the handle or getting stuff into/out of the main pouch. If I secured it below the hand grip, then it would slide down to the bottom of the crutches and the items in the main pouch could then fall out... I ended up using really slender zip ties and leaving a big loop so that it would be down about 3-4 inches from the hand grip.

Awkward shape makes this not useful
I wanted to be able to carry a bottle of water, a book, a pen and the occasional snack while i was on crutches and a walker. This product didn't work well for any of those uses. Despite the picture, the mesh pouch was not large enough for a standard pop bottle. The large center pouch has the only really useful opening size, but is too deep. If your item is not tall, you will have trouble grasping the item and pulling it out. For example, you can drop an average apple in, but you can't close your hand around it and pull it out. And, although the large center pouch is big enough for a plastic pop bottle, it is too small for any of the refillable water bottles I use. You can drop a can in, but you can't easily pull it out (see apple above). It is also not wide enough for a hard back book or a standard pad of paper with a hard back, It is fine for a rolled magazine, but a rolled newspaper will fall out. If you want to carry anything but a banana and a breadstick, find another carrier bag.

True to the picture, it is bulky and sticks ...
True to the picture, it is bulky and sticks out a lot. The velcro straps let it slide down a bit. If you really want to carry a water bottle, try it. Otherwise, use your pockets. My crutch user didn't approve.

Good, just Takes a little crafting to make it work
I agree with the other reviews that explain you can use this out of the box, you have to rig it somehow so that it doesn’t slide down and bunch. I personally just sewed the left and right side onto true crutch thru the holes with some embroidery thread. However even if the flawed design it was worth the cost and was great for when I had to use crutches as it replaced my purse . I kept my phone and keys in tie big center pouch and used the zippered pouch to keep my credit card and ID. The front net pouch can hold a can of soda or bottle of water as long as it is not too wide in diameter

A Must-have If You Have to Spend Any Time on Crutches
I blew out my ACL two months ago. Post-surgery, I still have one week left on crutches. Even around the house, carrying a beverage was hazardous. This little carry pouch has been indispensable. Purses are difficult on crutches but this will handle almost everything you need in a hurry -- glasses, car keys in the bottom of the drink pouch, along with credit cards and i.d., phone, cigarettes, whatever. Small items that you don't want to risk losing will tuck neatly underneath a beverage, and so be secure from falling out.
