Great for leatherworking
Used these for attaching a leather holster to a canvas belt. They work great and are of good quality. Nice shine to them and they fit my costuming needs perfect!

For My AFO Brace
I'm currently using one on my AFO brace to hold one of the velcro straps.I'm so glad I found them, it saved me timeand possibly a few trips to take my brace to a repair shop for something so small. They are way stronger than the rivet that came with my brace.I just wish I could have found them sooner.

One Star
They donโt stay in place

What can you say, they are Chicago screws right?
They do what they are supposed to do and do it very well. To ensure that they don't come unscrewed, I put a drop of clear nail polish inside of them when I install them. Works great!

Chicago Screws
I only needed one to replace a lost one from a belt but had to order 20 .. at least I have spares. Not as good a Quality as the one that was on the belt ..same size but the head of the screw and opposite part were thinner. It'll work though

Machining is terrible.
First off, there's the finish. It isn't clean looking at all, but that is secondary to the machining issue. I needed 3/8" Chicago screws for joining 3/8" worth of material. The first screw I tried didn't close down to 3/8", so I decided to try another, after that one failed, I decided to test them all. To test them I held the shaft with a pair or large needle nose pliers and used the appropriate 5/16" standard screwdriver. Out of 25, here is the breakdown:8: worked out of the package (pictured), tightening to 3/8"3: worked, but wouldn't have been able to go down to 3/8" without pliers.12: tightened to 5/16-1/2", but that's it.1: tightened to over 1/2"1: wouldn't thread on at all.

Works well
Worked great. Used to attatch a nameplate to my horse's leather halter. Added a little super glue to the threads and now it is secure and permanent
