Size down
Absolutely love these shoes. They are styling, comfortable and neutral- which was the most important thing. They go with everything. Highly recommend. Make sure to size down since they do run big- I normally wear a side 6/6.5 in sneakers and I got a size 5.

Looks great, feels terrible
Bought these after looking for a pair of off white leather sneakers. The sustainable angle hooked me (which I'm happy to support). Verdict? They're very good looking shoes. Been getting lots of comments on them and they go well with pretty much everything. They do, however, require a hell of a lot of breaking in. I've had mine for awhile now and they still aren't comfortable. On first wearing, without any exaggeration, they were the most uncomfortable shoes I've ever had on my feet. The leather is stiff and plasticky, the sole is supposedly rubber, but also feels like a solid block of plastic underfoot, the tongue cuts into the instep painfully (and is the same stiff leather as the rest of the shoe) and it fits narrow so if you have a wide foot (like I do), you may never get 100% used to them. The first thing I did was swap out the insole with a Hefe-Luxx insole to try and get some kind of softness into the shoe. It made a difference but really, the biggest issue is the upper. The official word is that the leather is untreated and chemical free and therefore, isn't going to be immediately soft. Fair enough, but I don't know if the leather will EVER soften to the point where the shoes are comfortable to wear. That's the bottom line. I couldn't be happier with the look. I'm happy there are companies out there manufacturing with sustainability in mind. After 2 months of daily wear I can still only bear these on my feet for an hour at a time. They're uncomfortable shoes. If you don't mind suffering a little for fashion, go ahead and enjoy the compliments you'll get. If you want something that is pleasant to wear, you might want to keep looking.
