I was traveling on a business flight and was all set to listen to some tunes on my iPhone XS with my Bose QC20 earbuds, and darn! I forgot there was no headphone jack. Thus, I started checking purchase options here on Amazon. Oddly, quite a few choices had hundreds or even thousands of reviews with very high ratings. Looking a little closer, though, and I discovered that these reviews were "hijacked" from other products.....books, dishes, toys, etc. They had nothing to do with the audio converter that was listed and that I was shopping for. Plus, Fakespot gave them all an "F" review rating. Then I finally came across this one. Reviews were actually about the product and Fakespot graded them with an "A" rating. I used it on a recent trip from Miami to Mexico city, and it worked perfectly. The sound quality was the same as when I used a "normal" headphone jack on my iPhone 6S. The only thing I will mention is that I had to push the headphone cable in a little forcefully.....it is a fairly tight fit, which is probably a good thing. Overall, I highly recommend this choice for an audio adapter for an iPhone. If things change as I use it more, I will update this review, but for now it works great and I'm even considering getting a second one. These adapters worked well for a couple of months, then didn't. Since they are very inexpensive I'm not surprised. Frustrating when they break, sound is sporadic and static.

This is the 3rd one of these adapters I have gone through. I received it on Jan 24th and started having issues with it by the 26th.. My phone was saying it detected water, which is not true. I started to hear static no matter what I did. Now it is the 31st and it has stopped working completely. The only way I can get audio is if I hold it at a certain angle which is of no good since it is in my pocket a majority of the time. I'm done with these crappy adapters. I'm done with the "lightning" connection because the Apple headphones and all the ones I purchased after went back almost right away.. And I take care of my stuff. It is a complete joke that I have gone through 4 pairs of headphones and 3 adapters and I haven't even had this phone a year yet. I refused to buy Airpods because I do not like having my phone to my ear, let alone Bluetooth constantly by my brain.. But it is to the point that I might not have a choice. DO NOT BUY THIS ADAPTER UNLESS YOU WANT TO KEEP WIGGLING IT FOR SOUND AND LIKE STATIC IN YOUR EAR.

I bought an iPhone 13 in Sept. '22 and soon discovered I couldn't use my plugin earphones with it. I didn't want to shell out for earbuds because I rarely use them. However, I want silent sound when I take the train or am otherwise using my phone in private. Over Thanksgiving my sister-in-law said that there are earbuds with a lightning connection. A subsequent phone conversation mentioned an adapter. I bought this package of three adapters, and I'm very pleased. I can enjoy a video when the family is all online doing separate work. Privacy and adaptability for a very reasonable price!

Did not work.

I never realized that my iPhone didn't have a port to use my square when I am at events collecting payments. My friend pointed it out to me and suggested that I order these handy adapter units. I saw that you can get 3 in a package so I opted to do that in case I am at an event and someone else might need one! They do work and I am very appreciative of the convenience! Thank you...

the sound quality its amazing! but i had a few problems.. so all 3 of them broke very fast! i felt like this was a waste of my money because once i put them on it got stuck in my plug so i didn’t really like that.

Bought as a gift and they liked it said they work so would definitely buy again
