No leaks, smooth pour!
As others have said, the new gas jugs that are supposed to be safer really suck to use. The spout leaks gas all of your hand when pouring. These replacements are awesome!! Work really well and no gas spilling on your hands!! Bought two for the new gas jugs we purchased.

Pours Better than Original Vent Leaks
I like that the spout came with two different sized caps with two different thread sized caps. It worked good as replacements on both my older Chilton & my newer Scepter Gas cans. The only issue I had was that even with the vent cap installed above the full gas level of can, the vent cap still leaks, just a tiny amount when transporting. Probably due to the sloshing motion created by movement. A better design, or perhaps suppling a fuel resistant adhesive, could prevent this issue. It doesn't come with a drill supplied, nor did the instructions offer what size drill to use, to make an opening for the vent. So I measured the vent, and ended up uising a 1/2" drill bit. The newer Scepter gas cans don't originally have a vent. However, I found by holding the empty can upside down, it helps to keep the drilled out plastic shavings from ending up inside of the can. Most newer gas cans of this brand of gas cans have a built in screen that can't be easily removed. Nor would I want a can without a screen to risk getting unwanted debris into the gas I'm putting in my car, or any other gas power devices. Perhaps in the future, a screen can be made already attached to the replacement spout.Even with these small issues, I'd still say these replacement spouts are a good product, and wouldn't hesitate to suggest them to anyone wanting a replacement for an older gas can, or wanting to increse the flow rate on a newer can that pours too slowly.

EFFECTIVE REPLACEMENT FOR TODAY'S GAS TANKS
I absolutely love EZ-POUR Rigid Spout. In fact, I bought one for each of my gas tanks because, just as the product called, IT'S EASY TO POUR. Today's spouts have all these safety features that not only make it hard to pour but they also pour gas everywhere except where I want it to go. As long as companies making spouts that doen't work, I will continue to replace my spouts using EZ-POUR Rigid Spout. Oh, I also wanted to share that the vacuum release nipple is very easy to install. Love it all. Thank you for the product EZ-POUR!

fits great on my old 5 gallon container and no more spills
Fit my older 5 gallon gas just right. It doesn't leak and has a screw on cap which is great. I do wish I had gotten a flexible spout but I am figuring it out.
User
Don't worry about what you need to know is a good product just make sure it has a seal
No complaints worked as purpose

Perfect solution
Perfect solution to the crazy spouts sold with the new gas cans.

Not the best, at least for long term
I installed the vent plug on two cans. One snapped off at 2 years, the other at 3 years. Both times, I had just filled my plastic cans with gas and was left scrambling to find something to plug the hole before transporting them from the gas station. Don't expect a long life; the vents seem to be cheap plastic.
