I own three iPods Classics, plus one Nano, one Shuffle and one Touch; but I enjoyed reading this guide, which I found well written.

The book is not large but is written clearly and it is easy to understand.

Good for brand new iPods
The problem with this book is that it is little use for resold or eBay devices. There is no information here about problems caused by connecting your device to your computer. My iPod classic 80gb was mistakenly plugged in for a sync but with the key lock on. It would not sync and sliding the lock on and off did not change the lock status. So a problem solving section would have helped.
