Swiss Chalet Dipping Sauce Gravy Mix, 14-oz (400g) Jar

Living in FL. Whenever I’m craving my WNY/Canada fave place I get a rotisserie chicken and some good rolls, French fries and make the SAUCE. IYKYK. Delicious. Easy to make. Good value. Love.

I usually purchase the packets but I'm glad I got the canister this time Not only because it makes more, but because I can make it a little thicker if I want to But it's really overly indulgent when I put a little extra in there. It's not needed at all. I love the Swiss chalet sauce and when I worked there, I used to drink it from a coffee mug It's so good!! it is identical to their sauce in the restaurant.

Tastes amazing! So glad I was able to find this sauce. You can dip anything in it! Of course I prefer to serve this with chicken and fries. I grew up in Buffalo when the Swiss chalet restaurants were open and I was so sad when they closed. I thought I would never have chalet sauce again. Great to be able to make as much or little as you want. I grew up with Swiss Chalet and had it at their restaurant. Restaurants were only in Canada or Buffalo. They started selling their sauce mix in the 90s. I had moved away and bought some from a website selling Canadian goods.

This is one thing I long for when visiting Canada, along with good Peameal Bacon. Over the years, I’ve been purchasing it in the small packets but was really happy to find it in a 14oz container.Just buy a rotisserie chicken, add some dipping fries, and you’ve got “Swiss Chalet.” (Well not exact…but as close as you’re going to get!)Updated 11/10/19I’ve been using the 4 Tbs packages for years but I’m finding that this bulk container tastes so much fresher and flavorful. Sometimes I just want a little extra, but don’t want to open another package. The ratio is 4 Tbs to 2 cups water, so 5 Tbs to 2 1/2 cups water is perfect! Great product and the expiry date is in 2021..

Better get this dipping sauce before tariffs!

I bought the individual packs for my adult daughters and this container for myself. It tastes just like I remember it when my kids and I used to eat at the restaurant. Very easy to use.
