Sanwa - YX361TR Analog Multitesters

An excellent product from a Japanese company. If you need an analog multimeter it will not disappoint. Also the null meter fuction proved to be handy.

He is very happy with this purchase. He uses it to check electronic equipments. The meter comes with the testing probes.

I was disappointed with this considering it was not cheap. The AA battery clip doesn’t hold the batteries firmly. Of course I opened it and spread the clips to make them tighter, but the nub or bump on the clip still interferes with locking the batteries in place and they continue to shift. I expected to be able to use the meter right away without fixing or modifying it. The meter seems to work fine as long as the batteries are making contact

Excellent machine, old fashioned design but with modern up to date features and very handy for using. The analog multimeter re-invented !

I bought this meter because I needed an analog null meter and there aren't many being made any longer. I wanted to like this meter, which refreshingly is made in Japan and not China, but I have to say that I was seriously disappointed and more than a bit surprised by its construction. It has a very cheap, slippery, and plastic feel to it with sharp edges, about what I would expect for a $15 Harbor Freight meter. The selector is flimsy and sloppy. The leads are a joke - about $2 worth of very small plastic leads suitable for a child's hand, with short, stiff PVC jacketing - perfectly appropriate for a $15 meter but not for one costing six times that. While it has a little red panel light to indicate continuity, it has no beeper. It's basically a bare bones analog meter. Does it work? Yes, but no better than a cheap Chinese meter costing much less. Unless you need the center zero feature, spend your money on something else.

電子工作に戻ってきたのは約10年前です。 すでに台湾・中国製の安価デジタルマルチテスターが秋葉原の店頭でも安く買える時代になってました。 しかし変化する値を見るときはデジタルテスターではなくて針式のテスターか最悪オシロを引っ張り出してきていました。 オシロだと小さくなったとは言っても本機のようなテスターには小ささの面では敵いません。 コロナの前頃にサンワのAP-33を買って針式が活躍する場面で使っていましたが、親に乾電池チェック用にあげてしまったので、上位機種に買い替えです。 国内メーカー他社製も含めて検討しましたが、一機種しかないとか、もうすぐアナログ全面撤退とかばかりで、消去法的にもサンワさんしか選択肢が無いです。オプションも長く作って欲しいですね。 最後に買ったアナログ針式のテスターになりそうです。
